Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to miniaturize the air conditioner and to save energies therefor without providing a circulation fan by providing in a full heat exchanger a fan exclusively used for discharge air directly connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:A full heat exchanger 8 wherein outdoor air D2 is heat- exchanged with a part of indoor circulation air A as discharge air C1 is installed at an intermediate partition part 11a between a circulation air chamber 11 and a discharge air chamber 12. A discharge air fan 9 exclusively used for discharge air is directly connected to the discharge air side 8a of the full heat exchanger 8, and the static pressure of the discharge air fan 9 is set at a value which is higher than that within the circulation air chamber. A part of circulation air A1 is discharged by the discharge fan 9 provided on the discharge air side of the full heat exchanger 8, and external air D2 corresponding thereto is introduced through the full heat exchanger 8 by a fan 2 for supplying air, thus performing heat exchange of external air D2 and discharge air C1. Accordingly, there is no need to provide the air circulation fan, and hence the air conditioner can be miniaturized and energy can be saved.
