Claims (1)
- 第１の部材と、第１の部材を包囲して第１の部
材に対して相対回動可能になつている第２の部材
と、第１の部材と第２の部材との間に装着されて
第１の部材と第２の部材との間に密封空間を形成
する環状の弾性シール部材とを有する密封装置に
おいて、上記第１の部材が、第１の部材の軸線方
向へ見たときに上記密封空間側にある内方位置か
らその逆側の外方位置へ向けて第１の部材の径を
増加させていくように延びる傾斜摺動面を有する
とともに、上記弾性シール部材が、第１の部材の
軸線にほぼ平行に該軸線方向の外方位置へ向けて
延び、互いに弾性シール部材の径方向へ所定量隔
てられていて外端が上記摺動面に摺動接触する複
数の環状シールリツプを有していることを特徴と
する密封装置。
