部での減衰状態の説明図、第７図は光の屈折と反
射を示す説明図、第８図は液滴の検出方法を実験
により確認した例の説明図、第９図は第８図の回
路図である。 １…光源、２…受光素子、３…前面ガラス、４
…遮蔽板。なお、図中同一符号は同一又は相当部
分を示す。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 自動車の前面ガラスの端面から可視光線等の電
    磁波を入射させ、この電磁波を反対側のガラス端
    面に配設した検出手段に入光する光の量の変化を
    検出して上記前面ガラスに付着した水滴を検出す
    るものにおいて、外部からの防害光による誤動作
    を防止するため、受光側端面からガラス板厚の４
    倍以上の幅を有する遮蔽板、遮蔽テープまたは塗
    装を前面ガラスに施こしたことを特徴とする自動
    車の前面ガラス用液滴センサ。
