決めし、この状態で適当な溶接手段によつて両者
を溶接結合する。溶接完了後、各治具からボデー
サイド部材14を外し、組立装置19は後退す
る。これと同時にアンダーボデー部材15も治具
13から外され、アンダーボデー部材15とボデ
ーサイド部材14との組立体は適当な手段でリフ
トアツプされ、次工程に送られる。

転割り出しを行つて所定車種に対応する溶接位置
決め治具を割り出し、この溶接位置決め治具に所
定車種の組付けるべきボデー部材を装着したの
ち、組立ラインに向つて前進させて組立ライン上
のボデー部材に、上記組付けるべきボデー部材を
位置決めして両者を溶接する様になしたから、多
車種の車体を同一ラインで混流させ乍ら組立でき
ると共にモデルチエンジに際しても、回転体の各
辺に装着した治具の交換のみで、これに対処でき
るので短期間のライン停止で対応できる。

ラインに近接離間しうるように設け、電気信号に
より回転体の回転割り出しを行つて所定車種に対
応する溶接位置決め治具を割り出し、この溶接位
置決め治具に所定車種の組付けるべきボデー部材
を装着したのち、組立ラインに向つて前進させて
組立ライン上のボデー部材に、上記組付けるべき
ボデー部材を位置決めして両者を溶接するように
したことを特徴とする車体の組立方法。 2 組立ラインの中心方向に向つて直線往復動す
