To briefly explain the conventional method of attaching this type of adhesive in the case of labels, a large number of labels punched out from label material are stored in a magazine in advance and then attached to an object to be attached such as a packaging container. At times, these were fed one by one from a magazine.

However, when using the above method, it is necessary to pay close attention to always keep the label in the same direction when feeding the label, which complicates the feeding mechanism and makes it difficult to improve work efficiency. There was also a limit.

Another conventional method is to attach a strip-shaped label material to a packaging container and then cut it with a die cutter having the shape of a label, or at the same time as the label material is attached. However, in this method, since the container is cut with the label material affixed to the container, the mechanism of the die cutter is complicated, the cost is high, and maintenance and inspection are not easy.

As a method for pasting a sheet-like adhesive material to solve the above-mentioned problem, the first invention of this application is to provide a sheet-like adhesive material having an adhesive layer on one side and having a predetermined punched shape. , and cuts (hereinafter simply referred to as cuts) having partial connecting portions are formed at regular intervals in the length direction, and the above-mentioned adhesive material is placed on the adherend that is continuously fed. At the same time as or after pasting the object divided by the cuts to the object to be adhered, the connecting portion is cut by moving the object in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the object. The adhesive can be removed from the adhesive material.

As shown in FIG. 1, this label material 1 is in the form of a band with an adhesive layer 3 provided on the lower surface of a base material 2. As shown in FIG. The base material 2 may be made of metal foil, synthetic resin film, paper, or other materials alone or in combination, and its upper surface may be colored, printed, or the like. The adhesive layer 3 is formed of a heat-sensitive adhesive, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a rewetting adhesive, or the like.

FIG. 2 shows the label material 1 in which label-shaped cuts 4 are continuously provided at regular intervals in the length direction of the label material 1. As shown in FIG. This cut 4
In addition to the circular shape shown in the figure, the punched shape can be any punched shape such as a non-circular shape or a scalene shape as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. The depth of this cut 4 is shown in Figure 5a.
As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the label material 1 may be penetrated (Figure a), or may be stopped in the middle without penetrating (Figures b and c); If there is, the connecting portion 7 is left in a part as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4. This connecting portion 7 is provided to prevent the label portion 5 from falling off from the remaining portion. Also,
If the cuts 4 are not penetrating as shown in Figures b and c, they may be discontinuous or continuous on the surface of the base material 2 as described above. In this case, it may be continuous because there is an uncut connecting portion 7' between the bottom of the cut 4 and the opposite surface of the label material 1. Also,
The cut 4 may be in the form of a perforation, as shown in FIG.

As described above, there are various methods for making cuts, and which method to adopt may be selected as appropriate depending on the structure, thickness, etc. of the label material. Further, as a method for forming the cuts, a roll die cutting method, a press die cutting method, etc. are usually used.

As mentioned above, since the label-shaped cut 4 made in the label material 1 is formed leaving the connecting parts 7, 7' in a part thereof, the label part 5 is not separated and is usually coiled. rolled into a shape. When pasting this onto a packaging container or the like, or after pasting, it can be easily separated by simple punching without cutting.

Next, the method for attaching the above-mentioned sheet-like adhesive material will be explained with reference to the block diagram of FIG. 7 regarding the label material in the same way as in the above case. In the same figure, 9
Reference numeral 10 indicates a rewinding section of the label material which has not yet been cut, 10 indicates a cut forming section, 11 indicates a delivery section for an object to be adhered such as a packaging container, and 12 indicates a placement section for the label material on the object to be adhered. , 13 is a sticking part, and 14 is a separating part which punches out a label part from a label material and separates the label part from the remaining parts integrally with the object to be stuck.

In the apparatus shown in the above block diagram, the label material is wound into a coil in the unwinding section 9, and while being unwound, the label material is wound in the next cut forming section 10.
The above-mentioned cuts 4 are formed continuously. Note that if the material to be wound up by the unwinding section 9 is the label material 1 on which the cuts 4 have been made in advance, the cut forming section 10 is omitted.

Meanwhile, in parallel with the above steps, objects to be adhered such as packaging containers are continuously sent out from the delivery section 11, and the above-mentioned label material 1 is placed on the object to be adhered in the mounting section 12. Next, the label portion 5 is pasted at a predetermined position on the object in the pasting section 13. Thereafter, in the separating section 14, the label portion 5 is punched out from the label material 1 by moving the label portion 5 together with the adhered material in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the label portion 5, and separated from the remaining portion 6.

Further, feeding the label material 1 from the rewinding section 9,
Naturally, the feeding of the adherend from the delivery section 11 and the punching in the separation section 14 are synchronized by mechanical or other methods, and fine adjustment is performed by detecting the phototube mark 8 with a phototube.

As described above, according to the method of this invention,
Sheet-like adhesive materials such as labels are not separated before pasting and are supplied as adhesive materials connected by the connecting parts of the cuts, so the positional relationship between the adhesive material and the object to be pasted is As long as the direction is constant, the orientation of the object to be adhered to the object to be adhered will always be constant. Moreover, since the cut is previously provided in the adhesive material, the adhesive material can be easily separated from the remaining portion by simple punching without cutting. Therefore, there is no need for a die cutter, and a simple punching device may be provided, resulting in low cost and easy maintenance.
