Abstract

PURPOSE:A composition for makeup effective for stability of active ingredient, protecting substances having change in properties by light, etc., containing agar film capsules comprising a makeup base, an active ingredient and an oily component as contents. CONSTITUTION:A composition for makeup containing agar film capsules comprising a makeup base (e.g. milky lotion or pack) and an oily component as contents. Agar film capsules will not show pressure-sensitive adhesiveness in swelling, has heat resistance and readily collapses by pressing power and contents flow out. So in the case of massaging cream, the capsules are destroyed by lack of lubricating properties caused by continuation of massaging and a colorant of the contents may play a role of an indicator showing the end of massaging or in the case of the contents having change in properties by light rays, the contents can be protected by coloring of capsule film or addition of light screen. The capsules are preferably produced by using a double cylindrical orifice.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions containing agar-film capsules.

(Prior Art and its Problems) Cosmetic compositions are commercially available in various forms. It may be possible to incorporate other active ingredients, such as enzymes, into this composition to improve the action or obtain other effects, but the stability etc. of such active ingredients in the composition may be considered. It becomes a problem. It is also difficult to incorporate substances that are altered by light into transparent cosmetic compositions.

Therefore, a method for stably incorporating these active ingredients into compositions is desired.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present inventors have discovered that other active ingredients can be stably incorporated into cosmetic compositions by encapsulating them in capsules, that is, agar capsules. That is, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition containing an agar-film capsule containing a cosmetic base and an oily component.

Capsules usually have a gelatin coating.

Although gelatin capsules are hard to break, they have poor heat resistance, are sticky when swollen, and particles tend to stick together. Such properties are rather unsuitable for usage forms in which it is preferable for the composition to break easily and the contents to flow out, and for usage forms in which it is preferable for the composition to not bind in an aqueous composition. That is, it is not preferable to introduce gelatin capsules into cosmetic compositions because the capsules are difficult to break and there is a possibility of binding. Among the various capsule-forming substances, the inventors have found that agar is the most suitable for inclusion in cosmetic compositions.

Agar is a sticky substance that exists in red grass, and its main component is thought to be agarose.

Capsules are produced using the above-mentioned agar by various conventionally known methods. Agar has less stickiness when swollen than gelatin, making it difficult to manufacture capsules with a seam that forms two hemispheres and glues them together. Therefore, a method for producing seamless capsules, so-called seamless capsules, is preferred.

Seamless capsules are generally manufactured using the so-called dripping method, in which the capsule contents and capsule coating material are extruded through a double cylindrical orifice to form spherical droplets in a coagulating liquid. Specific examples of the dropping method include Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-8875 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-1067.

As the cosmetic base, any conventionally known base may be used. For example, the cosmetic base of the present invention includes common products such as emulsions, creams, packs, and bar soaps, as well as cleansing compositions such as facial washes and Nyanbu. These compositions are not particularly limited.

In the present invention, the contents to be encapsulated in the agar film capsule include, for example, various enzymes, drugs, dyes (pigments), and a rinse when the cosmetic base is 7%.
