T/D13 used in continuous casting equipment has traditionally been coated with a refractory lining or lined with a fireproof board in order to prevent heat dissipation of molten steel, and to prevent residual metal from peeling off and cleaning the refractory lining. However, recently, for the purpose of saving labor and reducing costs, a method of spraying monolithic refractories onto the inner surface of the T/D 13 using a spraying machine has been adopted.

In this method, a spray machine runs on the T/D13,
Because it is installed automatically, it is possible to save labor, and because no one enters the T/D 13, it is possible to avoid high-temperature T/Ds.
13, there is less heat loss, and the construction thickness can be adjusted to any desired thickness according to the operating conditions, so there are advantages such as material costs can be reduced. However, in this method (spraying construction), powder containing a large amount of fine powder with a particle size of 297 μm or less is pumped from a feeder 1 using compressed air, an appropriate amount of water and a binder is added in a mixer 2, and a nozzle 3 Since the dust is ejected from the air and blows against the inner surface of the T/D 13, it generates a lot of dust and worsens the surrounding working environment. As countermeasures, workers have to wear dust masks and large dust collectors 9 have been installed. . T/D by spray machine
13 In spraying the inner surface, the nozzle 3 is usually kept at the same distance from the surface to be sprayed, the traversing trolley 4 and the traveling trolley 5 are running, and the movements shown by the dotted lines 6 and arrows 7 in Fig. 3 are carried out.
After spraying the inner circumferential surface and completing one round of spraying, the nozzle 3 descends by a predetermined amount and sprays the inner circumferential surface again, sequentially up to the lower end.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, conventional dust prevention measures include fixing a hood 8 to the lower part of a traveling truck 5 and connecting a dust collector 9 mounted on the traveling truck 5 with a duct 10 to collect dust. And, as shown in Figure 4, work floor 1
2 and the hood 8 attached to the traveling trolley 5 are connected by means of a flexible duct 11. This device is designed to connect the dust collector 9 installed at /D1
3.The opening area of the bottom part is large, so the suction capacity is high.
A large dust collector 9 with a capacity of 300 to 500 m 3 /min is required.
Particularly in the case of the former (Figures 1 and 2), only the dust collector 9 with a suction capacity of about 100 m 3 /min can be mounted on the traveling trolley 5, making it impossible to improve the working environment. In addition, the device for installing the dust collector 9 on the work floor 12 (Fig. 4) is designed to run on a large-diameter flexible duct 11 of 550 to 750 mm, since the traveling trolley 5 travels approximately 6 to 8 m in the longitudinal direction of the T/D 13. It is necessary to move in accordance with the running of the trolley 5, which occupies the 12 surfaces of the work floor, and the flexible duct 11 is subject to severe wear and tear. In addition, as shown in FIG.
13, high-pressure air is pumped from the blow-off nozzle 14 with a blower 16, and is sucked by a suction hood 15 connected to a dust collector 9 and a duct 10.
A device for preventing dust generation is also known, but while this device has good workability, it has the disadvantage that the dust collector 9 is very large and requires a suction capacity of 1000 to 1500 m 3 /min, resulting in high equipment costs.

The present invention solves the drawbacks of such conventional devices, and installs lifting covers 17 and 18 (dust-proof walls) at the front and rear of the traveling trolley 5 in the running direction, thereby minimizing the opening of the dust source. The suction capacity of dust collector 9
Dust generation can be prevented even if it is made small at 50 to 100 m 3 /min, and even if the traveling trolley 5 is equipped with a dust collector 9, it becomes compact, the production cost is low, workability is improved, and dust generation is prevented. We provide a device that can do this.

Hereinafter, an explanation will be given based on FIGS. 6 to 9 showing examples. Longitudinal direction of T/D13 (arrow 19)
The nozzle 3 is mounted on a traveling trolley 5 that moves up and down, rotates, and swings freely (excluding the mechanism).
13 (arrow 20 in FIG. 8) is placed on the ceiling of the traveling truck 5.
A ceiling dustproof cover 21 having the minimum opening required for the nozzle 3 to move sideways, and a side dustproof cover 23 extending downward from the ceiling dustproof cover 21 to the T/D upper end surface 22 around the sides of the traveling trolley 5.・24 is fixed to the lower end of the side dustproof covers 23 and 24,
A minimum gap is maintained between the T/D upper end surfaces 22,
The traveling trolley 5 can run on the T/D 13. Elevating covers 17 and 18 are attached to the front and rear surfaces of the traveling vehicle 5, which are raised and lowered by air cylinders 25 and 26 fixed to the traveling vehicle 5. T/D13
When the elevating covers 17 and 18 are lowered, they overlap slightly with the lower end of the side dustproof cover 24 and can close the opening in the T/D 13. When the lifting covers 17 and 18 are raised, the lower ends of the lifting covers 17 and 18 are
The side dustproof covers 23 and 24 are raised to the lower ends, allowing the traveling trolley 5 to pass through the T/D 13. A dust collector 9 is mounted on the traveling truck 5, a duct 27 is passed through the ceiling dustproof cover 21, and a hood 28 is attached to the tip to suck the inside of the dustproof covers 21, 23, and 24. The lift covers 17 and 18 are operated by T/D13.
When spraying near the center of the T/D 13, lower the lifting covers 17 and 18 as shown in Figure 6, and when spraying near the right end of the T/D 13, raise the lifting cover 18 as shown in Figure 7. . Furthermore, when spraying the vicinity of the left end of the T/D 13, by raising the elevating cover 17, the entire inner wall of the T/D 13 can be sprayed. Lifting cover 17/18
The timing at which
1 and 32, and actuating pieces 33 and 34 attached to the surface of the work floor 12. for example,
From the state shown in Figure 6, the traveling trolley 5 is on the right side of the T/D 13.
When the T/D 13 is running, the elevating cover 18
A little before hitting the right end wall 35, the limit switch 30 comes into contact with the operating piece 34 and raises the lift cover 18. The rising speed is determined in accordance with the traveling speed of the traveling trolley 5 and the inclination of the right end wall 35 of the T/D 13 so that the opening area is minimized. T/D13
When you finish spraying on the right end of the T/D 13 and move towards the center of the T/D 13 again, turn on the limit switch 30.

In the above embodiment, the air cylinders 25 and 26 were used as the lifting device for the lifting covers 17 and 18, but the lifting device is not limited to the air cylinder, as it is also possible to lift and lower the lifting covers using a hydraulic cylinder, an electric motor, etc. . In addition, limit switches 29, 30, 31, and 32 were used to detect signals for raising and lowering the lifting covers 17 and 18, but the traveling position of the traveling carriage 5 was detected by pulse signals from an encoder, etc., and the lifting covers 17 and 18・It is also possible to raise and lower the 18, and the detection of the raising and lowering signal is not limited to the limit switch. In addition, the shape of the lift covers 17 and 18 is such that in addition to flat plates such as iron plates, acrylic plates, and wooden plates, chains 36 and ropes are attached closely to the holder 37 as shown in Fig. 10, side by side. It is also possible to make it the inner dimension.
In this case, the capacity of the dust collector 9 will be slightly larger, but
Even if the elevating covers 17 and 18 come into some contact with the inner wall of the T/D 13, the device and the inner wall of the T/D 13 will not be damaged. 18 can be used even if the timing and speed of lifting are arbitrary.
