本発明は、ポリウレタンフオームに布地を接着
した原材を、天部当接部を丸く残して椀形にヒー
トプレスすることによつて緩衝材を一体成形した
内貼材となし、これを帽体の内側に貼着すること
を特徴とするヘルメツトの内装方法であつて、図
面はその方法を示すものである。即ち、第1図に
おいて1は原材で、厚さ約15mmのポリウレタンフ
オーム2に、感触の良い布地3を接着して成る。
この原材1を椀形(やや長円形)の型を以てヒー
トプレスする訳であるが(第2図)、雌型4の下
底部には浅い長円形の窪み5を設け、また、雄型
6の方にも同様の窪み7を設けておく。そうする
ことによつて、窪み5,7の部分の原材1は、ヒ
ートプレスされずにポリウレタンフオームの元厚
を残すことになる(緩衝材8)。次いで、ヒート
プレスされて椀形となつた部分を原材1から切取
り、これを翻転させれば内貼材9が出来上がる
(第3図)。この内貼材9は、接着剤で帽体の内側
に接着する。
