[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a scouring towel obtained by knitting synthetic resin fibers, and in particular, by knitting irregularly shaped monofilaments with polygonal cross-sections as warp and weft yarns, the scouring towel has excellent scouring properties. It is designed to provide a rubbing effect and durability.

Conventionally, scrubbing towels made of this type of synthetic resin fiber have been knitted with soft stretchable bulky yarns mainly made of multifilaments such as nylon, and hard monofilaments such as polyethylene or polypropylene as warp and weft yarns. It is known for being knitted. (Refer to Utility Model Publication No. 53-46852.) However, all of the towel fabrics with the above structure have few irregularities in the filament and the sackcloth itself, and
In addition, due to the high elongation rate in the vertical and horizontal directions, the stimulation against the skin during rubbing was insufficient, and the sackcloth made of stockinette knits was not durable because it caused an infection to occur immediately when a single filament was cut, causing the eyes to ravel. There was also a problem with the lack of sexuality.

In view of these circumstances, the scrubbing towel of the present invention is made by twisting together a polygonal polygonal cross-section irregularly shaped monofilament made of synthetic resin and a plurality of comparatively thin monofilaments of the same shape. By knitting the towel fabric by knitting the processed spun fibers into ratchets as the warp and weft, the edge effect brought about by these irregularly shaped filaments themselves and the unevenness of the surface of the canvas cloth due to the ratcheting work together to create excellent printing properties. In addition to providing a rubbing effect, even if one filament is cut, the unraveling does not spread throughout the filament, significantly improving its durability.

Hereinafter, the structure of the present invention will be described according to its embodiments. In the figure, 1 is an irregularly shaped monofilament made of polypropylene, polyethylene, etc., having a polygonal cross section of 3 to 6 sides and having a thickness of 100 to 150 deniers; 2 3 is a yarn made by twisting 4 to 5 irregularly shaped monofilaments having a cross-sectional shape similar to the above and having a thickness of around 15 denier, and further applying wooly processing to a yarn of 60 to 100 denier. This is a towel fabric obtained by latsiel knitting using the irregularly shaped monofilament 1 as the weft.

In knitting the above-mentioned toweling cloth, it is optional to form horizontally long insertion holes 4 near the upper and lower edges of the toweling cloth as shown in FIG. As shown in Fig. 1, by forming fukusa knitted sections vertically and horizontally in advance along the outer field of a towel fabric of a desired size, if each towel fabric is cut from the above-mentioned fukusa knitted sections 5 and 6, the edges of the fukusa knitted sections are It does not come undone, and the labor of oversewing, etc., which is generally required, can be omitted.

When the scrubbing towel of the above-mentioned structure is rubbed against the body, the edge effect produced by the corners of the irregularly shaped monofilament that makes up the towel fabric and the rutsiel knitting create an edge effect. The unevenness of the surface of the canvas interacts to create a strong rubbing effect, and at the same time, the internal voids in the warp yarns, which are made from multiple monofilaments treated with wool, promote the foaming of soap, making the cleaning effect even more effective. It is something that will be increased.

Furthermore, by inserting several fingers into each of the insertion holes 4 and expanding the holes, the towel of the present invention can maintain a sufficiently wide planar rubbing area, and can stretch in the horizontal direction but not in the vertical direction. Due to the characteristic of the Ratsiel knit, which is difficult to stretch, it is particularly effective when rubbing the back etc. in a solo bath compared to various conventional towels.

In addition, when the towel of this invention is used for dry cloth rubbing, the above-mentioned rubbing principle stimulates the skin strongly enough, and the excellent pine surge effect provides remarkable therapeutic effects on stiff shoulders, rheumatoid arthritis, neuralgia, etc. ,
The terry cloth itself does not suffer from unraveling even if a single filament is cut, and its durability is greatly improved, which is something that could not be expected from conventional products. It has significant practical utility.
