【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案は自動車に装備する電動式バツクミラ
ーに関し、特にミラーボデイ内への駆動ユニツト
の取付け構造に係る。

ツトとがミラーボデイ内に装備されている。そし
て運転席等から駆動ユニツトをリモートコントロ
ールしてミラーの角度を調整するようにしてい
る。

このような電動式バツクミラーを組立てるに
は、予め駆動ユニツトにミラーユニツトを取付け
たサブアセンブリを用意する一方、ミラーボデイ
内に駆動ユニツトの上下を挟持できるレール金物
を固着しておき、上記サブアセンブリの駆動ユニ
ツト側をミラーボデイ内に押込んでレール金具に
挟持させ、次いでミラーボデイ底壁にあけた孔か
らビスを通し外部から締付けて固定していた。ビ
スはレール金物によつて挟持されたサブアセンブ
リの抜け止めを果す程度のものであるに対し、レ
ール金物は上下の翼片部分で駆動ユニツトを挟持
させるため、充分な強度をもたせることのほか、
駆動ユニツトの大きさ、型式に適合するような形
状のものとする必要があつた。これとは別にレー
ルなしのベースプレートをミラーボデイ内に固着
しておき、ビスを用いて駆動ユニツトをベースプ
レートに締付けたのち、駆動ユニツトの前部にミ
ラーユニツトを取付ける構造のものも知られてい
るが、電動ミラーの組付作業に手間を要するとい
う問題点があつた。

イの外側からビスを通して駆動ユニツト下部中央
の螺着部に螺着したものである。

側の被掛止部をベースプレート側の掛止用舌片に
かけ止めることにより、駆動ユニツトを最終的に
固着する以前に位置決め、または仮り止めできる
ので組付が容易である。またこのようにかけ止め
たのち、ミラーボデイ底壁の孔からビスを挿通し
て駆動ユニツト下部中央の螺着部にねじ込むよう
にしたから、掛止用舌片の斜面に沿つて被掛止部
がガイドされ、駆動ユニツトを下方に引下げると
共に、ビスの締付分力により駆動ユニツト背面を
ベースプレート側に接近または当接させて駆動ユ
ニツトを強固に取付けることができる。
