Abstract

PURPOSE:To further easily remove a mold releasing agent in a mold and to maintain good environment without developing dust by removing the old mold releasing agent with rotating brush while injecting water flow and making construction for preventing flow-out of contaminated water during washing. CONSTITUTION:The rotating brush 11 is rotated while rubbing the mold 21 face and at the same time, the jet water stream down the parting agent stuck on the rotating brush 11. The contaminated water injected in the inner part is sucked to a pump from a suction hole 12. Further, the contaminated water retained in gap between double edge weirs 19 is also sucked from the suction hole 12 through penetrating hole 17. The contaminated water after suction, is introduced to a treating vessel, and after separating and removing impurity, it is discharged.

Conventional technology Grid manufacturing methods for storage battery plates include a casting method in which molten lead alloy is poured into a mold, and an expansion method in which cuts are made in the lead plate and stretched to form a metal lath-like grid. .

A mold is generally used in advance. This consists of a fixed mold, which is split at the center of the cross-section of the grid, and has a concave engraving corresponding to the shape of the grid on the mating surface of the mold, and a movable mold. In this state, lead alloy is poured into the mold through the melting hole provided at the top, and the mold is opened to form a solidified model. At this time, the grid remains attached to the fixed mold, so it is pushed out using a push-out bottle provided on the mold, and then dropped and ejected from the mold. The mold is then closed again and the grid is repeatedly pressed one after another.

At this time, it is necessary to apply 111i type agent to the carved surface of the mold. As a mold release agent, water glass and cork powder are mixed with water and stirred to form a liquid emulsion, which is then sprayed onto the mating surface of the mold engraving. It is not necessary to reapply the applied mold release agent for each grid, but as the number of U molds increases, the thickness of the coating gradually becomes thinner and deteriorates due to contact with molten lead, impairing castability, so it is usually done every few hours. This needs to be repainted. At this time, it is undesirable to overcoat the deteriorated mold as it may cause partial peeling or falling off of the coating, so when recoating, the previous mold release agent must be completely removed before reapplying.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention Since the mold is at a temperature of A, the water content of the applied mold release agent completely evaporates immediately after spraying, leaving only the powdery solids coated on the mold surface and drying and adhering. In the conventional dry mold release agent removal method, this mold release agent is removed by removing it with a wire brush, and for areas where it is relatively difficult to remove the mold release agent, such as the bottom of a complicated excavation, a rotating wire is used to remove the mold release agent. It must be thoroughly brushed with a brush. Such work is not only extremely time-consuming, but also tends to contaminate the surrounding area due to the scattering of dust generated during the work, which is also unfavorable in terms of working environment hygiene.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention is a wet mold release agent removal device, in which the old mold release agent applied to the mating surface of the storage battery grid mold is scraped off by a brush that rotates while spraying water from a water jet nozzle. It has a structure that allows it to be removed by washing with water and prevents the waste water being washed from flowing down from the surrounding area.

As the rotating brush 11 shown in FIG. 2 rotates while stroking the mold surface, a jet water stream is applied from the water spout 15 to wash away the mold release agent adhering to the rotating brush 11. The water stream also has the effect of wetting the mold release agent on the surface of the mold, making it easier to remove the mold release agent. The sewage spouted inside is sucked into the pump through the suction port 12. Also double edge plate 1
