Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the dropping of an adhesive containing a curing agent through a nozzle onto an adherend and the washing of the adhesive adhering to the nozzle, etc., by dropping an adhesive containing a microencapsulated curing agent after crushing the capsules by means of a crushing member and, when the dropping is stopped, withdrawing the crushing member to drop the adhesive without crushing the capsules therein, thereby washing away e former adhesive, in which the capsules were crushed, adhering to the nozzle, etc. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive comprising a base material and a microencapsulated curing agent is fed from a tank 5 to a nozzle body 1 provided with a crushing member 8 constructed so as to be rotatable and movable upward and downward. The microcapsules in the adhesive are crushed between the crushing surface 9 of the rotating crushing member 8 and the crushing surface 4 on the nozzle side. This adhesive is dropped through a nozzle 2 onto an adherend 10. When the dropping is to be stopped, the crushing member 8 is moved upward to provide a space (h) between the crushing surfaces 9 and 4 to allow the adhesive to flow without crushing the microcapsules therein, thereby washing away the former adhesive, in which the microcapsules were crushed, adhering to the crushing surface 4, the nozzle 2, etc.

When the adhesive is dripped onto the object to which it is applied, the microcapsules are crushed and the hardening agent inside is released, allowing the adhesive to be cured by the hardening agent. It should be used at least. For this reason, various techniques for crushing microcapsules while they are adhered have been proposed and widely put into practice.

Then, when dropping is stopped, if you leave it as it is, the adhesive after microcapsule crushing will adhere to the nozzle, and the adhesive will stick to the nozzle due to the action of the sulfurizing agent that came out. Since the adhesive hardens, in this prior art, a solvent such as thinner is passed through a nozzle to wash away the previous adhesive.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has the following technical means. That is, using the symbols in the accompanying drawings that correspond to the embodiments,
To explain this, in the process of supplying an adhesive consisting of a base agent and microcapsules containing a curing agent suspended in the base agent from a dropping device to an object to be adhered, the above-mentioned dropping device At the nozzle constituting the adhesive, either the nozzle or the crushed body is brought close to the other, and between the two, the microcapsules are crushed, and then the microcapsules are supplied to the object to be adhered. In the agent dropping method: When stopping the dropping operation, either the crushing body or the nozzle, or both, are separated from each other to the extent that crushing action does not occur between them, and crushing is performed in this state. By flowing the adhesive consisting of the unprocessed microcapsules and the main agent through the passage opened by the above-mentioned separation, the adhesive containing the hardening agent after the microcapsules were crushed and adhered to the nozzle in the previous step was washed away. This is a characteristic adhesive dropping/cleaning method.

(Function) With the above configuration, when dropping is stopped, either the crushing body or the nozzle, or both, separate from each other. Therefore, even if the crushing body attempts to crush the microcapsules by rotation, etc., the microcapsules in the adhesive The capsules are not subject to effective crushing action between the two, and the adhesive containing them flows out from the nozzle without the microcapsules being crushed. The hardening agent and the main agent, which have caused the microcapsules to be crushed by the crushing action, adhere to the nozzle, and even though they are not hardened, they are washed away together. , the adhesive will not harden and stick.

That is, FIG. 1 shows the microcapsules contained in the adhesive being crushed while supplying the adhesive, and the microcapsules are crushed toward the adherend 10.
This shows a state in which adhesive mixed with a hardening agent is being dropped. More specifically, first, the crushing body 8 is positioned downward, and the microcapsules in the adhesive, which are supplied from the tank 5, passes through the wall surface of the interior 3, and reaches the nozzle side crushing surface 4, are removed from the nozzle side crushing surface 4. This figure shows the state in which the crushing body 8 is crushed by rotation between the crushing surface 9 of the crushing body 8. Then, from the nozzle 2, the adhesive, which is a mixture of the curing agent and the main agent released from the microcapsules when they are crushed, is dripped onto the adherend 10.

Next, when the dripping of the adhesive onto the adherend is stopped, if this continues, the adhesive after microcapsule crushing will adhere to the nozzle-side crushed surface 4, nozzle 2, etc.
However, in the present invention, the crushing body 8 is first moved upward based on a control signal as shown in FIG. 2.

That is, even when the crushing body 8 is rotated, a distance is maintained such that the capsules in the adhesive flowing between the crushing surface 9 and the nozzle-side crushing surface 4 are not crushed. Then, the microcapsules in the adhesive that flows into the interior 3 through the tank 5 and the supply pipe 6 and that come around the crushing surface 4 are not equally crushed, so the uncrushed adhesive causes the microcapsules to be crushed by the previous microcapsules. When the capsule is crushed, the hardening agent is released and the adhesive is flowed downward from the nozzle 2. In other words, the time required to wash away
This method flushes out the adhesive in the tank and flushes away the adhesive that is about to harden.
