Conventionally, when nailing a decorative board, in order to prevent the nail head from appearing on the surface, the decorative board is actually processed and the nail is driven into the false part, or the nail head is covered with a jointer. was. However, in actual processing, a relatively thick substrate is required, and in the case of using a joiner, the cost of the joiner is high, which is a factor in the high cost.

In the decorative board of the present invention, a cut groove is formed at an upward angle from at least the longitudinal end of the board to which the decorative sheet is attached, or from the back surface of the board slightly inside the end to the vicinity of the decorative sheet. A double-sided pressure-sensitive tape is attached to either the upper or lower surface of the substrate or the bottom surface of the tip of the substrate separated by a cut groove.

In FIG. 1, a cut groove 3 is formed at an upward angle from the end of a substrate 1 to which a decorative sheet 2 is attached to the vicinity of the decorative sheet. In FIG. 2, a cut groove 3 is formed from the back surface of the substrate slightly inside the edge of the substrate 1 to which the decorative sheet 2 is attached to the vicinity of the decorative sheet. In FIGS. 3 and 4, the front end portion 4 of the substrate separated by the kerf 3 is lifted and nailed onto the surface below the kerf 3. 5 and 6 show the tip of the substrate after removing the release paper of the double-sided pressure-sensitive tape 5 attached to the upper surface of the cut groove 3 or the bottom surface of the tip of the substrate 4 separated by the cut groove 3. 4

The substrate used for the decorative board of the present invention may be plywood, fiberboard, gypsum board, etc., and is not limited by the material. Further, the decorative sheet may be made of tissue paper, vinyl chloride sheet, cloth, etc., and is not limited by the material. The depth of the cut groove should preferably be at least 8 mm wide enough to allow nailing.

As mentioned above, the decorative board of the present invention is one in which nails are driven into the lower surface of the cut groove and the nail heads are covered with the tip of the board separated by the cut groove. A thinner substrate can be used compared to the decorative board, and it is easier to process and cheaper than those using jointers.
