Conventional forms of transportation include single-track and double-track. Although the single-track system is advantageous in terms of land use, only one of the outbound and inbound vehicles can operate on each section, making it impossible to create an overcrowded train schedule. In addition, it is not possible to operate express vehicles, and in order to be able to do so temporarily, evacuation tracks must be installed at specific locations (such as passing stations) and double tracking is required. Additionally, certain locations (such as stations) must be double-tracked to allow oncoming vehicles to cross paths. On the other hand, the double-track system is disadvantageous in terms of land use, and evacuation tracks (double-tracking) must be provided in order to operate express vehicles. If conventional passenger vehicles are used in this way, the problems described above will arise.

That is, the present invention provides a passenger vehicle capable of running on rails, which includes a vehicle body, wheels attached to the vehicle body via swing legs, and a climbing rail attached from the top surface of the vehicle body from the front to the rear. The present invention provides a passenger vehicle comprising a pantograph and a pantograph guide body disposed from the lower surface of the vehicle body in the front and rear directions. According to this configuration, by making the swinging legs of one passenger vehicle vertical, the vehicle body of the other passenger vehicle is placed in the upper position, and by making the swinging legs of the other passenger vehicle horizontal, the vehicle body of the other passenger vehicle is placed in the upper position. In the lower position, by swinging the swinging legs of the upper passenger vehicle and positioning its wheels on the overpassing rail of the lower passenger vehicle, two-way operation and overtaking operation can be performed on the common rail. This allows for an overcrowded train schedule, and this allows the entire line, including the stations, to be made into a single track, which is advantageous in terms of location.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. The passenger vehicle described in this embodiment is, for example, a lightweight vehicle with a passenger capacity of about 10 people. Two passenger vehicles are shown here, and are represented as a stop passenger vehicle 1A and an express passenger vehicle 1B. Both vehicles 1A, 1B
Both have the same configuration, and will be described below using the same reference numerals. The vehicle body 2 has a long box shape, and swing legs 4 are mounted at the front and rear ends of both sides via shafts 3a and 3b, respectively.
a, 4b are attached, and these swinging legs 4a, 4b
Wheels 6a, 6 are connected to the lower end of the wheel via axles 5a, 5b.
b is attached. The shafts 3a, 3b are connected to rotary cylinders 7a, 7b, and are configured to control the swinging of the swinging legs 4a, 4b. Furthermore, motors (not shown) that are linked to axles 5a and 5b are attached to the swing legs 4a and 4b. A pair of left and right riding rails 8 are attached from the top surface of the vehicle body 2 to the front and back, and the spacing between these rails 8 is equal to the spacing between the wheels 6a and 6b as well as the main rail 9.
The interval is set equal to the interval of . Further, the climbing rail 8 is formed into a curved rail with a convex upper surface.
Further, both ends of the climbing rail 8 are configured to slide on the main rail 9 when the swing legs 4a, 4b are set horizontally and the vehicle body 2 is at its lowest position.
A bottom frame 10 that also serves as the lower frame of the vehicle body 2 is disposed between the inner surfaces of both ends of the climbing rail 8, and between the bottom frame 10 and the climbing rail 8, the front and rear frames of the vehicle body 2 are disposed. A side frame 11 that also serves as the main frame is provided. A pantograph 13 corresponding to the overhead wire 12 is provided at the center of the upper surface of the vehicle body 2, and a pantograph guide 1 is provided from the lower surface of the vehicle body 2 in the front and rear directions.
4 are arranged. Note that when both swing legs 4a, 4b are vertically arranged and the vehicle body 2 is at its highest position, the pantograph guide body 14 is connected to the overhead wire 12 and serves as an auxiliary overhead wire.

In FIG. 1, an express passenger vehicle 1B approaches each stopped passenger vehicle 1A. At this time, each stopped passenger vehicle 1A has its swing legs 4a, 4b vertically arranged, and the vehicle body 2 is at the highest position. Further, the express passenger vehicle 1B has the swing legs 4a and 4b in a horizontal position, and the vehicle body 2 is at the lowest position. In this state, the express passenger vehicle 1B passes under each of the stop passenger vehicles 1A, and as shown in FIG. 4, the rear wheels 6b of each stop passenger vehicle 1A ride on the overpassing rail 8 of the express passenger vehicle 1B. At this time, the swinging leg 4b is swung rearward. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 5, the front wheel 6a also rides on the climbing rail 8. At this time, the swinging leg 4a is swung forward, and the express passenger vehicle 1
The pantograph 13 of B is guided by the pantograph guide body 14 of each stopped passenger vehicle 1A. After that, the express passenger vehicle 1B comes out in front of the passenger vehicle 1A at each stop, but at this time, the wheels 6 of the passenger vehicle 1A at each stop
a and 6b have landed on the main rail 9.

In the above embodiment, a state in which the express passenger vehicle 1B overtakes each stopped passenger vehicle 1A is shown, but this is also possible in a two-way operation in the same way. In both overtaking and face-to-face operations, the higher-ranking passenger vehicle may be in operation or stopped.

As described above, while each stop passenger vehicle 1A is stopped at a station, the express passenger vehicle 1B may overtake it. At this time, passengers board and alight from the passenger vehicles 1A at each stop, and a station structure is required for this purpose. That is, at each station, as shown in FIG. 3, a new platform 16 is installed on top of the existing platform 15, corresponding to the entrance/exit of the passenger vehicle 1A at each stop. Further, at stations such as terminal stations and express stop stations where the express passenger vehicle 1B stops below the stopped passenger vehicles 1A at each stop, a corresponding station structure is required. Therefore, at such a station, as shown in FIG.
There are 18. Therefore, both passenger vehicles 1A,
Boarding/disembarking from 1B is on each platform 17,
This is done using 18.

According to the above-described passenger vehicle of the present invention, the swinging legs of one passenger vehicle are made vertical so that the vehicle body is placed in the upper position, and the swinging legs of the other passenger vehicle are made horizontal. With the vehicle body in the lower position, the swinging legs of the upper passenger vehicle are swung and its wheels are positioned on the rail for the lower passenger vehicle to cross over, thereby allowing round-trip opposing operation on the common rail. It is also possible to carry out overtaking operations, and it is possible to create a congested timetable even though it is a single line. This allows the entire line, including the stations, to be made into a single track, which is advantageous in terms of location.
