Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operating efficiency by simplifying removing operation of a projected part, by a method wherein a liner bag with an elastic cap to be inserted into a branch pipe through an inversion is projected within a main pipe, almost the whole of a part which is to be removed is occupied by the reusable elastic cap, and after cure of curing resin the elastic cap is removed. CONSTITUTION:A liner bag 1 is constituted of a tubular liner 3 composed of a flexible resin absorbing material coated with a film 2 by impregnating the tubular liner 3 with thermosetting resin. The same is passed through the inside of a guide pipe 8, the tip part is fixed to the external circumference of the lower end of the guide pipe 8 with a clamping band 9 by inverting the tip part, and water is poured through a water pouring hose 10. As the liner bag 1 is made longer than a branch pipe 11 moderately, an end part 1a of the liner bag 1 is ejected a little into the main pipe 12 at the time of completion of an inversion and an elastic cap 6 on the tip of the end part 1a is swollen with water pressure, the end part 1a adheres close to the fringe of an opening of the branch pipe 11. When hot water is supplied within the swollen elastic cap 6 through a hot water hose 5, the thermosetting resin is heated and cured. The elastic cap 6 is removed from the inside of the main pipe 12 and branch pipe 11 along with the hot water hose 5.

Methods for repairing and reinforcing old or damaged pipes by lining the inner circumferential surface of these buried pipes without digging them out have already been proposed and put to practical use (for example, In other words, in this method, a tube made of a flexible resin absorbent material whose surface is coated with a film (hereinafter referred to as a liner) is impregnated with a curable resin. A pipe (hereinafter referred to as a liner bag) is inserted into the old pipe while being inverted, and is pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the old pipe using fluid pressure, and then the liner bag is heated to release the curable resin impregnated into it. It is cured to form a rigid lining pipe on the inner periphery of the aged pipe.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, when the above method is applied to a branch pipe branching from a wood pipe, the rigid lined pipe protrudes from the branch pipe opening into the main pipe, and the protruding portion of this rigid lined pipe had to be removed, and the materials used for this part, such as hardening resin, were wasted, making it uneconomical. Furthermore, the above-mentioned cutting operation is carried out by inserting a remote-controlled movable cutter and a small television camera into the tube, and controlling the cutter remotely while photographing the cutter and the protrusion of the rigid lining tube with the television camera. When the protrusion of the rigid lined pipe is large.

There were problems in that the cutter was difficult to be seen by television cameras, reducing the efficiency of the cutting operation, and the cutter could be operated incorrectly, causing damage to the inner wall of the main pipe. Furthermore, if the protrusion of the rigid lined pipe is large, the amount of cut by the cutter will be large;
There was also the problem that the life of the cutter was shortened, making it uneconomical.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention consists of a flexible resin absorbent material whose surface is coated with a film, and a curable resin is attached to a tubular liner that is moderately longer than the branch pipe. One end of the liner bag is sealed air-tightly with a removable elastic cap, and the tubular member thus constructed is inserted into the branch pipe while being inverted by fluid pressure, and the elastic material is impregnated with fluid pressure. The cap is inflated within the main pipe and held in this state to cure the curable resin impregnated in the liner, after which the elastic cap is removed and the end of the liner bag protruding into the main pipe is cut off. By doing so, a rigid lined pipe is formed on the inner periphery of the branch pipe.

The part to be removed is almost entirely occupied by the reusable elastic cap, so there is no waste. In addition, since the elastic cap is removed after the curable resin is cured, the end of the liner bag that protrudes slightly into the main pipe and is cured hardly obstructs the view of the TV camera, and the cut amount of the cutter is also reduced. Since only a small amount is required, the cutting operation becomes easier, there is no possibility of erroneous operation, and the life of the cutter is significantly extended.

FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the front end of the liner bag l used in the method of the present invention after being inverted. An example of how to connect them is also shown. The liner bag 1 is constructed by impregnating a tubular liner 3 made of a flexible resin absorbent material whose surface is coated with a highly water-resistant and airtight film 2 with a thermosetting resin. The elastic cap 6 is hermetically connected to the tip of the liner bag 1 after it has been inverted, that is, to the end 1a in FIG. 5 using an adhesive tape 4. The elastic cap 6 is connected at its convex end to the tip of the hot water hose 5, and when the hot water hose 5 is pulled to the right in FIG.

Accordingly, in the method of the present invention, a liner bag l in the form of a tube, which is appropriately longer than the branch pipe (11) and has approximately the same diameter as the branch pipe 11, is inserted into the manhole 7 as shown in FIG. Pass it through the upright guide pipe 8, turn its tip upside down, and fix it to the outer circumference of the lower end of the guide pipe 8 with a tightening band 9.Next, inject water into the guide pipe 8 from the water injection hose IO. For example, the liner bag l is turned over by water pressure as shown by the broken line in Fig.
When the liner bag l moves in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and one inversion is completed, that is, when the elastic cap 6 provided at the end has also been inverted, the front end of the liner bag L protrudes into the woodwind 12 as shown in FIG. become a state.

By the way, since the liner bag l is moderately longer than the branch pipe 11, when one inversion is completed, its end 1a protrudes slightly into the main pipe 12, as shown in FIG. 2, and the elastic cap 6 beyond it protrudes. Since it expands due to water pressure, the end 1a is connected to the branch pipe 1.
Close contact with the opening edge of 1. The hot water hose 5 has its tip connected to the convex end of the elastic cap 6, and its other end is connected to a boiler 13 installed on the ground. A suction pipe 14 is further connected to the boiler 13,
A pump 15 is interposed in the middle of the suction pipe 14.

Here, while maintaining the above state, hot water is supplied from the boiler 13 through the hot water hose 5 into the swollen elastic cap 6, and water in the guide pipe 8 is supplied to the boiler 13 via the suction pipe 14 by the pump 15. When the returning operation is repeated, the thermosetting resin impregnated into the liner 3 is warmed and hardened.

In FIG. 3, after the water in the liner bag l has been drained, the hot water hose 5 is pulled in the direction of the arrow, but at this time the end 1a of the liner bag l is hardened, so the adhesive tape 4
can only be partially inverted and is therefore easily stripped off. In this way, the elastic cap 6, together with the hot water hose 5,
It is removed from the main pipe 12 and branch pipes 11.

As a result, a rigid lined pipe as shown in FIG. 4 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the aged branch pipe 11, and the branch pipe 11 is repaired. The end portion 1a of the liner bag l, which remains slightly protruding into the main pipe 12, is easily and accurately removed by a cutting operation using a television camera 16 and a cutter 17, both of which can be remotely controlled.

In the above embodiments, a thermosetting resin was used as the curable resin, but a photocuring resin or the like which is cured by irradiation with low light may also be used.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, when the liner bag is reversely inserted into the branch pipe to be repaired, the front end when the reversal is completed, that is, the liner bag is removed to protrude into the main pipe. Since almost the entire area is occupied by the reusable elastic cap.
