DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet having a surface with a difference in gloss, and more specifically, a method for forming a pattern on the surface of a sheet that can be embossed in areas that are not affected by heat and pressure embossing. The present invention relates to a method in which heat and pressure embossing is performed after the surface is provided.

In the method of manufacturing an uneven decorative sheet using an embossing plate or an embossing roll (hereinafter referred to as an embossing plate), although an uneven shape is formed by embossing, the gloss of the surface of the decorative material is determined by the gloss of the surface of the embossing plate. This has the disadvantage that both concave and convex portions end up with the same gloss.

On the other hand, it is conceivable to manufacture an embossing plate with a difference in gloss between concave and convex parts and emboss the decorative material, but this method requires many steps to manufacture the embossing plate and is expensive. It is inevitable that it will become something.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet having a difference in gloss on the surface using a commonly used embossing plate with uniform surface gloss.

次に本発明を図面に従つて詳細に説明する。 Next, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, a resin composition mainly consisting of a curable resin is applied in a pattern on the surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet 1. The applied pattern 2 ranges from an extremely thin film with almost no difference in height between the sheet surface and the sheet surface, as shown in Figure 1, to a raised pattern with a convex shape as shown in Figure 2. The thickness of the coating can be arbitrarily selected.

Next, the resin composition is cured to form a cured film on the patterned portion, and then heat and pressure embossing is applied thereto using an embossing plate.

The surface gloss of the embossing plate used at this time needs to be different from the surface gloss of pattern 2. For example, if the surface gloss of the pattern is relatively high, an embossing plate with a relatively low surface gloss may be used. On the other hand, if the surface of the pattern has a relatively low gloss, an embossing plate with a relatively high surface gloss is used.

As a result of heat and pressure embossing, the gloss and uneven shape of the surface of the embossing plate are transferred to the areas where the pattern is not applied, that is, the areas where the surface of the thermoplastic resin is exposed, but the patterned areas become a hardened film. Because of this, it is not affected by the embossing plate and retains the original luster of a hardened resin coating. Therefore, a difference in gloss is generated between the patterned portion and the non-patterned portion, and as shown in FIG. 3, a decorative material 4 having a difference in gloss on its surface and having a pattern 2 and an embossed portion 3 is obtained.

Although FIG. 3 shows the case where an embossing plate having only uniform gloss is used, if an embossing plate having uniform gloss and arbitrary irregularities is used, the decorative material 4 as shown in FIG. 4 will be obtained.

Further, when the pattern is convex as shown in FIG. 2, the decorative material has a convex and convex shape and a gloss difference as shown in FIG. 5.

The curable resin is an epoxy-based, acrylic-based, urethane-based, polyester-based, or urea-melamine-based resin, and may be an ultraviolet curable type, an electron beam curable type, a heat curable type, an acid curable type, or the like. Moreover, this curable resin can also be colored if necessary.

Note that thermoplastic resin sheets can be used regardless of whether they are transparent or opaque, and if a transparent one is used, a sheet with a colored or arbitrary pattern can be laminated on the back side by heat-sealing or adhesive. can.

Next, the patterned surface of the sheet was embossed under heat and pressure using an embossing roll having a grained surface and a gloss of 10 on the gloss meter, to obtain a decorative sheet having a difference in gloss on the surface.
