Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve palatability and readily, economically and advantageously obtain the titled pet food for dogs and cats, by adding a synthesized fish meat peptide as a palatability improving substance in a specific proportion to a raw material for the pet food. CONSTITUTION:A synthesized fish meat peptide obtained by enzymically treating fish meat as a platability improving substance in an amount of 1.0-10.0wt.% based on a raw material for a pet food is added to the raw material in an optional step to the final product to afford the aimed pet food with <=15% moisture content. Furthermore, a substance prepared by hydrolyzing a raw material fish with an alkali-tolerant proteolytic enzyme at 50-60 deg.C and pH9-10, then adjusting the pH to 5-6, hydrolyzing the resultant substance with an aciduric proteolytic enzyme, separating, filtering and concentrating the resultant hydrolyzate, etc., is preferably used as the synthesized peptide.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Industrial Field of Application) The present invention does not use fish meat in a state obtained by ordinary squeezing, drying, or other physical operations, but uses a fish meat peptide synthetic product obtained by enzymatically treating fish meat. The idea is to improve the palatability of dogs and cats by adding it to vent food for dogs and cats.

(Prior Art) As is well known, pet food for dogs and cats can be broadly classified into dry food, semi-moist food, canned food, sausage food, and the like. Among these foods, canned foods and sausage foods have a high moisture content of 15 to 90%, so they can be said to generally have better palatability than dry foods. However, dry pet food has many advantages when considering processing methods, nutritional value, storage stability, transportation, and other issues, and if it is dry and has higher palatability, it can have great value as a product. can. In order to improve the palatability of dry foods, for example, livestock by-products, offal meat such as tuna and bonito, dairy products such as butter, cheese, and eggs, and various artificial and natural flavors have been used as tribe food ingredients. For example, it is added as an additive.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, all of the dry foods to which the above-mentioned additives have been added have their advantages and disadvantages, and there remain problems such as no improvement in palatability or people getting tired of eating them.

The present invention was invented in view of the above-mentioned problems, and is a fish meat extract (hereinafter referred to as "fish meat extract") in which the proteins contained in fish meat are peptideized into multiple amino acid conjugates by treating fish meat with various enzymes. The aim is to provide a manufacturing method that can inexpensively and mass-produce pet food that is more palatable to dogs and cats by adding and blending peptide synthetic products into general dry food.

Here, the raw material for pet food means a mixture of main raw materials and auxiliary raw materials conventionally known as dry food for dogs and cats, such as corn, wheat flour, soybean oil cake, yeast, fish meal, meat meal, meat and bone meal, Examples include animal fats and oils, vegetable oils, coloring agents, preservatives, minerals and vitamins, and others, but these can be selected and used at the appropriate time depending on the type, breed, and growth rate of the target dog or cat. .

Next, the fish meat peptide synthetic products added to these raw materials are not only processed by squeezing, drying, and other physical treatments.
This refers to fish meat extract that has been treated with enzymes. In addition, this fish meat peptide synthetic product (enzyme-treated fish meat extract)
For example, Patent No. 932246 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 5
The fish meat extract taught in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-7508) is most suitable. In other words, this fish meat extract is produced without pre-processing the raw fish by cutting it into pieces or making it into a slurry.
First, the pH was adjusted to 9 to 10, and an alkali-resistant proteolytic enzyme (for example, Yakult Biochemical KL product name [Aloase AP-10J, manufactured using Bacillus subtilis)] was added.
After decomposition with pH 5 to 6, acid-resistant proteolytic enzyme (for example, Yakult Biochemical produced using Aspergillus Aspergillus)
It is obtained by separating and filtering and concentrating a product decomposed with the trade name [Panctase NP-2] using a conventional method.

In addition, the reason why the proportion of fish meat peptide synthetic products added to the pet food raw materials was limited to 1.0 to 10.0% by weight varies depending on the type and breed of the target dog or cat, their growth rate, etc., but the amount added is usually If the amount is less than 1.0% by weight, it will not improve the palatability of dogs and cats, and conversely, even if the amount added is 10.0% by weight or more, there will be no effect on improving palatability. be.

Furthermore, the fish meat peptide synthetic product can be added at any step up to obtaining the final product; for example, it may be carried out in a mixer that mixes corn, meat flour, and other raw materials.

In particular, the method of adding (coating) a fish meat peptide synthetic product to the surface of pet food raw materials after expansion molding is more preferable because it further improves palatability for dogs and cats, and the addition ratio is also mixed with other main raw materials, auxiliary raw materials, etc. The amount can be kept to a lower level than in the case of molding, and palatability can be further improved by adding other palatability substances (for example, beef tallow, lard, artificial or synthetic flavors, etc.) at the same time. Considering the results of this experiment, we can see that the food intake was very good in test plots E and F, while in test plots B and C. The amount of food consumed was not significantly different from that in Test Group A (no fish meat peptide synthetic product added). From this, it was found that it is necessary to add the fish meat peptide synthetic product in an amount of 1.00% or more, and even if it is added in an amount of 10.00% or more, no increase in feed intake is observed. Thus, in this experiment, it was confirmed that the palatability of Donta Food was significant when the fish meat peptide synthetic product was added at a rate of 1.0% by weight or more based on the raw material.

(Effects of the Invention) The pet food for dogs and cats provided by the manufacturing method of the present invention configured as described above not only further improves palatability for dogs and cats, but also improves the palatability of the food for dogs and cats when dry food is used as the pet food. The product takes advantage of the inherent advantages of dry food, such as processing method, nutritional value, storage stability, and transportability, and does not impair any of the inherent characteristics of dry food itself. Also,
Since it can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process, the conventional manufacturing line can be applied almost as is, and only a few additional steps are required, so the economic burden associated with process changes to implement the present invention is extremely low. Small and practical.
