As is well known, banks and other financial institutions have recently started operating their equipment at night and on holidays, so banknote jams like the one described above occur during such nighttime and holiday operations. In such a case, there is a problem that the machine will be out of operation for a long time, causing great inconvenience especially to customers trying to make withdrawal transactions. To avoid this, it is not possible to have operators on standby at night or on holidays. As mentioned above, although it is expected that failures will occur frequently in circulating bill depositing and dispensing devices, failures do not always occur, so financial institutions end up wasting manpower.
