Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply beautiful luster to the surface of a tablet with simple operation irrespective of the surface smoothness of the sugar-coated tablet, by mixing sugar-coated tablets in fluidized state with a polishing agent composed of a solid wax for polishing and a lubricant. CONSTITUTION:A polishing agent is produced by mixing a solid wax for polishing (e.g. beeswax, paraffin or carnauba wax) with a lubricant (e.g. talc, magnesium stearate or synthetic aluminum silicate) at a weight ratio of 9:1-1:9. The obtained polishing agent is mixed with sugar-coated tablets in fluidized state. The uneven surface of the sugar-coated tablet is polished and smoothened and the coagulation of the solid wax can be prevented by the mixing of the lubricant.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention provides a method for unrolling sugar-coated tablets, and more specifically, a method for unrolling sugar-coated tablets that can smooth the sugar-coated surface of one tablet and impart a beautiful gloss. Regarding.

Conventionally, methods for dispensing sugar-coated tablets include placing the tablet and a solid wax for dispensing in a dispensing nozzle and fluidizing them while rotating, or dissolving or dispersing the wax in an organic solvent to form tablets. A method of adding it to a flowing surface was used.

However, the former method has drawbacks such as insufficient gloss cannot be imparted unless the surface of the sugar coating is highly smooth, and the solid wax becomes hard, reducing the elutriation effect, while the latter method uses organic solvents. However, none of the methods were satisfactory because of the drawbacks such as the possibility that residual substances may affect the human body.

Under these circumstances, the present inventor conducted intensive research to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks, and as a result, discovered that it is possible to impart a beautiful luster to sugar-coated tablets by using a release agent made by adding a lubricant to a conventional solid wax. The present invention has been completed.

Examples of the lubricant include Merck, magnesium stearate, synthetic aluminum silicate, magnesium aluminate metasilicate, etc., and these preferably have a particle size of 50 μm or less. This lubricant has the function of polishing and smoothing the irregularities on the surface of the sugar coating, and also of preventing the solid wax from agglomerating into a lump.

To carry out the method of the present invention, for example, sugar-coated tablets may be
into Q7, sprinkle the above-mentioned release agent thereon, and fluidize the mixture. Spraying and fluid mixing of the release agent may be repeated several times. The amount of dispensing agent to be dispersed varies depending on the size of the sugar-coated tablet; for example, in the case of tablets with a diameter of 9 mm, it is preferably 200 mg per 1000 tablets. Fluid mixing of the dragee and the dispensing agent may be carried out for about 30 minutes. It is not necessary to separate and remove the pickling agent remaining after such an operation, and the resulting sugar-coated tablet can be used as is.
