第１図は本考案による、すりみがきパツドの平
面図、第２図は第１図に示したパツドの、パツド
中心を通る線からみた断面図、第３図は第１図お
よび第２図に示したすりみがきパツドを作るため
に用いた、高品位の、不織の研摩製品でできた、
１つの切目付きセグメントの平面図、第４図は別
なパターンの切目を示した、高品位の、不織の研
摩材料でできた切目付きセグメントの平面図、第
５図はさらに別のパターンの切目を示した、高品
位の、不織の研摩材料でできた切目付きセグメン
トの平面図、第６図は細長いハンドル（断面は図
示せず）を含んだ、第１図に示したすりみがきパ
ツドの断面図である。 図において、１０……パツド、１１……セグメ
ント、１２……中心部分、１３……締付装置、１
４……出張り部分、１５……切目、１６……外周
エツヂ。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 高度に順応性のある、ほぼ球形状をしたすりみ
    がきパツドにおいて、締付装置によつて、その中
    心部において一緒に圧縮されて締付けられた、順
    応性のある、高品位の、低密度の、不織の研摩製
    品でできた、複数個の、半径方向に切目の入つた
    、等辺等角形状の、平坦なセグメントを含み、前
    記セグメントを積み重ねた山は、その圧縮されて
    いない状態において、厚さと平均直径との比率が
    約１対１ないし約１対３になつており、各々の前
    記セグメントはある線に沿つてその外周エツヂか
    ら中心部に向かつて、前記線の長さの約１０パー
    セントないし約８０パーセントの平均長さ範囲に
    亘つて切目が入れられており、前記切目は半径方
    向に均等間隔配置された約５本ないし約１２本の
    切目となつて、複数個の半径方向に整列された出
    張り部分を画定し、前記出張り部分はその最も巾
    の狭い部分において少なくとも３／１６インチ（
    約４．８ミリメートル）の巾を有し、同一セグメ
    ント内の前記出張り部分は、少なくとも一時的に
    は、そのセグメントの面の上と下とに交互に位置
    することができ、これによつて前記パツド内の全
    体的な出張り部分の配列が前記球形状を画定する
    ことを特徴とするすりみがきパツド。
