Snake cages are used by filling the inside with stones at sites where river embankments have burst or water is flowing out, etc., when performing foundation work, rubble stone work, etc. as a flood prevention measure. Since such a cage is mainly used in an emergency disaster, it is required to be light, easy to carry, and highly workable, and is also desired to be strong and durable. Furthermore, what is most desirable is that the device be maintained in a state where it can always be used for emergencies (readiness).

Conventional snake cages are constructed by weaving wire with a wire diameter of 3.2 mm or 4.0 mm into a cylindrical shape with an outer diameter of 40 cm and a length of 80 cm.The end of the cylindrical opening is filled with stones, and then the opening is closed. It is now being sealed off and installed at the desired location. However, since this snake cage is cylindrical and stones are filled from the opening at the end, the workability of stone filling is poor.
Furthermore, since they are made of wire, they are heavy and difficult to handle at disaster sites, where working environments are often harsh, and they also rust, which poses problems in terms of durability.

This idea aims to improve stone filling workability, ease of handling, availability, and durability, and uses a net-like body with a tortoise-shell mesh made by weaving synthetic resin monofilament as a net material. By bending this net material so that its opposite side edges face each other and sealing both ends of the folded body,
The gist of the present invention is a snake cage characterized in that the cage is configured as a net cage with an opening between the opposite side edges.

The synthetic resin monofilaments used in this invention include polyamide resins such as nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 610, and nylon 12, polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate, and polyvinylidene chloride and polyvinylidene fluoride resins. Using various thermoplastic resins such as halogenated vinyl resins, polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene,
It is obtained by melt spinning and stretching, and has appropriate heat shrinkability and heat fixability.
The diameter of the monofilament is usually set to 2 to 5 mm.

The snake cage of this invention is manufactured using the above-mentioned monofilament, for example, in the following manner. That is, a plurality of the above monofilaments are twisted so that they intersect with each other so that straight parts and twisted parts with the number of twists of 2 or more are continuous alternately. A mesh having a hexagonal mesh as a mating part is formed, and this is cut into a predetermined size to obtain a rectangular mesh 1 as shown in FIG. In this net-like body, the ears on opposite side edges are sewn together with ear lines 2, 2, and the other opposite side edges are bent so that at least one mesh overlaps, and the net-like body is attached to the overlapping part 3. One or two pieces of monofilament 4 of the same type as those used for the fabrication are threaded through and secured at the ends.

The snake cage according to this invention uses such a net-like body as a net material. A folded body is made by folding this net material in half along a fold line parallel to the selvage line 2 so that the two opposite side edges on which the selvage lines 2, 2 are arranged face each other. As shown in FIG. 2, both ends 6 of this folded body 5 are tied and sealed with ropes 7. As a result, a boat-shaped mesh cage having an opening 8 between the opposite side edges where the ear wires 2, 2 are provided, that is, a snake cage according to an embodiment of the invention is obtained. Moreover, when the above-mentioned netting material is folded into three in the direction along the selvage line 2 as shown in FIG. A thick plate-shaped gabion cage having an opening 11 between both side edges is obtained. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4, by folding both ends of the tri-fold body 9 and sealing them with folded parts 12, 12, an opening is formed between the opposite side edges where the ear lines 2, 2 are provided. A thick plate-shaped snake cage having a size of 13 is obtained.

Each of the cages obtained as described above is filled with stones using a bag 14 made of synthetic fibers or natural fibers, as shown in FIG. Fill the watery container with soil, sand, and stones to seal the opening 15, and fill the openings 8, 11, and 13 of the cage with materials the size of a stone, and close the openings. This is done by sealing it off with a rope. In this case, the openings 8, 11, and 13 of the cage are formed widely between the two opposing side edges over almost the entire length of the cage, so that stone filling can be done quickly and meet the requirements for emergency workability. I can respond. In addition, since the mesh material of the cage is made of lightweight and rust-free synthetic resin monofilament, it is possible to improve ease of handling, availability, and durability. In addition, since the monofilament of the above-mentioned snake cage is quite strong, the shape of the cage can be sufficiently maintained during filling with stones and hardly deformed. Therefore, stone filling work is not hindered by the collapsed shape. This snake cage can also be used to prevent landslides.

つぎに、実施例にもとづき具体的に説明する。 Next, a detailed explanation will be given based on an example.

[Example 1] Using polyethylene terephthalate, a monofilament with a diameter of 2.7 mm was manufactured by melt spinning and drawing. This filament was woven into a net by using a hexagonal mesh processing machine to form a hexagonal mesh with a mesh size of 5 cm, and the net was cut into pieces of 120 cm in length and 100 cm in width. Next, monofilaments of the same type were passed through the bent portions of the mesh on both side edges along the length of the mesh to form ear lines. Next, as shown in Fig. 1, both edges of this mesh in the direction perpendicular to the ear line are bent so that they overlap by one mesh, and one monofilament with a diameter of 2.7 mm is passed through the mesh at the overlapped portion. The ends were fixed. Then, this was folded in half along the selvage line, and both ends of this folded body were tied and sealed with a commercially available nylon twisted rope having a diameter of 3.0 mm, as shown in FIG. the result,
A boat-shaped cage as shown in Fig. 2, which has an opening from one end to the other end in the lengthwise direction, was obtained. The weight of this snake cage was 0.6 kg.
