Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove water from sewage and concentrate the sewage by incorporating a frother into the sewage in the storage tank of a simple flush toilet, introducing air into the sewage, and aerating the sewage to remove the air contg. steam along with bubbles. CONSTITUTION:A water removing device is set to the sewage storage tank for a simple flush toilet through a lid. The inside pipe 7 of the water removing device is slightly immersed in the sewage, and the outside pipe 6 provided with the lid 8 having an inspection hole 9 is immersed in the sewage slightly deeper than the inside pipe 7. An air diffuser 10 is provided to the tip of the inside pipe 7 for introducing air to diffuse air, and the water is evaporated in the vicinity of the diffuser by the bubbles 14 formed by the action of the frother previously incorporated in the sewage. The bubbles and air pass through the space between the outside pipe 6 and the inside pipe 7, and are removed from a bubble removing pipe 11. In this case, the air and bubbles are effectively removed by using a fan 12.

Compositions that contain a large amount of water, such as sewage stored in tanks for simple flush toilets, are mostly water, and in order to store this, a container such as a tank with a fairly large capacity is required. It comes like this. Therefore, it is extremely desirable to remove the water content of the wastewater stored in such a tank, since this will reduce the number of times the tank has to be filled with wastewater. On the other hand, it is also common practice to obtain water from seawater, etc., and various methods have been developed.
It is necessary to handle a large amount of water, and it is extremely important to easily and efficiently collect and obtain only water.

According to the research conducted by the present inventor, the following has become clear. In other words, when a foaming agent such as a surfactant is added to a composition containing a large amount of water and air is blown into the composition to foam it, the water evaporates as bubbles are generated and the vapor pressure in the air near the water surface increases. It became clear that a considerable amount of water could be removed by collecting this air together with the bubbles that were formed.

The foaming agent used in the present invention may be any foaming agent as long as it produces foam, and a wide range of foaming agents that have been conventionally used can be used. Specific examples include various surfactants, saponins, dextrins, etc. Examples of the surfactants include nonionic, cationic, anionic, and amphoteric surfactants.

The type and amount of the foaming agent to be added may be appropriately determined depending on the type of water composition to be added and the amount (concentration) of water. For example, if the water to be treated is sewage, fatty acid Surfactants other than salts are preferred.

After the foaming agent is mixed preferably uniformly, air is blown into the mixture to create foam, and the resulting foam is removed together with the air, thereby removing moisture along with the foam. The amount of air introduced at this time is not particularly limited, and may be any amount that causes sufficient foaming.
