BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent years, so-called artificial dialysis, in which body fluids such as blood are purified using a purifier, has become widely used in the treatment and life support of patients with renal failure. Body fluids that are taken out of the body and circulated outside the body are brought into contact with dialysate through a semipermeable membrane in a purifier, and the blood is purified by the action of the semipermeable membrane. In this artificial dialysis, dialysate is usually supplied by a dialysate supply device. The dialysate supply device includes a dialysate inflow path that allows dialysate to flow into the purifier, and a dialysate outflow path that guides dialysate flowing out from the purifier, and supplies dialysate to the purifier through these dialysate flow paths. It supplies liquid.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention By the way, in such a dialysate supply device, after dialysis is finished or temporarily stopped, the dialysate channel through which the dialysate flows is disinfected before starting dialysis again. It is necessary to. To disinfect the dialysate flow path, the dialysate in the dialysate flow path is usually drained out of the system, and then the inside of the flow path is disinfected with formalin, chlorinated water, etc.
This is done by filling it with a disinfectant such as hypochlorous acid and leaving it as is for a certain period of time. When dialysis is restarted, the disinfectant in the dialysate flow path is replaced with dialysate again.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and its gist is that in the dialysate supply device as described above, the dialysate flow path is A connecting means is provided for connecting the dialysate inflow path and the dialysate outflow path to form a closed circuit for the dialysate flow path, and a pair of electrodes exposed to the dialysate in the dialysate flow path is provided. in the dialysate flow path which is made into a closed circuit by the electrolytic means,
The reason is that the dialysate, which is an electrolyte solution containing chloride ions, is electrolyzed.

In the present invention, the dialysate inflow path and the dialysate outflow path constituting the dialysate flow path are connected,
Then, if a current is passed between the electrodes of the electrolytic means,
The dialysate in the dialysate flow path can be used as a disinfectant as it is. By connecting the dialysate inflow path and the dialysate outflow path, the dialysate flow path becomes a closed circuit, and when a current is passed between both electrodes of the electrolytic means, an electrolyte solution containing chloride ions is formed. The dialysate is electrolyzed and chlorine is generated in the same flow path, which is dissolved in the dialysate and the dialysate directly acts as a disinfectant. That is, in the present invention, in artificial dialysis treatment, chlorine ions contained in the dialysate are used as substances to be replenished into the body, and the fact that the dialysate is an electrolyte solution is skillfully utilized.

In this way, in the present invention, the dialysate in the dialysate flow path is directly changed into a disinfectant solution, which eliminates the need to discharge the dialysate and the subsequent disinfectant solution, which was conventionally required when disinfecting a dialysate supply device. This eliminates the need for filling the dialysate supply device, making the sterilization work in the dialysate supply device easy and simple.

Embodiments Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail based on the drawings. FIG. 1 systematically shows a blood purification device including a dialysate supply device and a disinfection device provided in the dialysate supply device. In the same figure, reference numeral 10 denotes a purifier, which houses a semipermeable membrane, through which blood as a bodily fluid taken out from the body and dialysate are brought into contact with each other. The action purifies the blood. The dialyzer 10 includes a blood inflow path 12 through which blood taken out from the body flows into the purifier 10.
and a blood return path 14 for returning the blood flowing out from the purifier 10 into the body, while a dialysis line 14 for causing the dialysate that is brought into contact with this blood to flow into the purifier 10 through a semipermeable membrane. A liquid inflow path 16;
A dialysate outflow path 18 for guiding the dialysate flowing out from the purifier 10 is connected thereto.
The dialysate inflow path 16 and the dialysate outflow path 18 form part of the dialysate supply device 20 . The dialysate supply device 20 includes means necessary for a dialysate supply device such as a dialysate flow path including the dialysate inflow path 16 and dialysate outflow path 18, a circulation pump, and a valve.
It is configured to circulate the dialysate flowing out of the purifier 10 and supply it to the purifier 10 again.

The dialysate flow path of this dialysate supply device 20 is disinfected by a disinfection device 22 after the dialysis operation is finished. Disinfection device 22 fluid-tightly connects the end of dialysate flow path 16 removed from purifier 10 and the end of dialysate outflow path 18, as clearly shown in FIG. It has a cylindrical cell 24. That is, each end of the dialysate inflow path 16 and the dialysate outflow path 18 that have been removed from the purifier 10 are inserted inside both ends of the cell 24, and these flow paths are directly connected without going through the purifier 10. As a result, the dialysate flow path becomes a closed circuit. Disinfection device 22
further includes a pair of electrodes 26 and 28 which are pushed into the inside of the cell 24 and exposed to the dialysate;
The electrolyzer 34 has an electrolyzer 34 equipped with a power source 30 and a switch 32 for passing current between the electrolyzer 28 and the dialysate. In other words, switch 32
When turned ON, since the dialysate inside the cell 24 is an electrolyte solution, a current flows between the electrodes 26 and 28, and at this time the dialysate as an electrolyte solution is electrolyzed. This dialysate contains salt as a substance to be replenished into the body during artificial dialysis.
8 and chlorine (Cl 2 ) at the cathode 26.
NaOH and hydrogen are generated. The chlorine generated at the anode 28 dissolves into the dialysate and is circulated within the dialysate flow path by the circulation pump of the dialysate supply device 20, thereby disinfecting the inside of the flow path.
Note that the hydrogen gas generated at the cathode 26 is moved within the dialysate flow path along with the flow of the dialysate, and is trapped in a chamber 36 provided in the middle of the dialysate flow path. The trapped hydrogen gas is discharged out of the system by the discharge mechanism 38.

In this way, in the above device, the dialysate in the dialysate flow path can be changed into a disinfectant with a single switch operation. This eliminates the need to drain the dialysate and fill the same flow path with disinfectant, thereby eliminating the complexity of disinfection work.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention can be implemented in various other embodiments. For example, HCl or other acid may be added to the dialysate to neutralize NaOH produced by electrolysis. In this case, the dialysate is prevented from becoming alkaline, and the disinfecting effect of chlorine is maintained at a high level. Further, in the above embodiment, a chamber 36 for trapping the generated hydrogen gas and a hydrogen gas discharge mechanism 38 are provided.
are not necessarily necessary in the present invention, and can be omitted. Furthermore,
In the above embodiment, the case where the dialysate is circulated by the circulation pump during the disinfection operation has been described as an example, but the dialysate does not necessarily need to be circulated in the dialysate flow path during the disinfection operation, and It is also possible to leave the dialysate in the dialysate flow path uncirculated while electrolyzing the dialysate inside the dialysate. In this case, chlorine generated by electrolysis diffuses within the dialysate flow path and disinfects the flow path.

In addition, the present invention is applicable not only to a circulation-type dialysate supply device that circulates dialysate as illustrated in the above embodiments, but also to a simple-pass type dialysate supply device that simply allows dialysate to pass through, or Those skilled in the art will appreciate that it can also be applied to a circulating adsorption type dialysate supply device that removes harmful substances from the dialysate flowing out of the purifier together with the harmful substances by adsorption and then returns the dialysate to the purifier. It is possible to implement the system with various modifications based on the knowledge of the following.
