に延在する回動軸の回りに前記フレームを押し板に対し
て回動するよう前記フレームと前記押し板に連結された
細長い前方に伸長するリンクからなり;(b)前記フォ
ーク取付部材の前記上向き面上に着脱自在に支持可能に
載る下向き面をもつ前記フレーム上の掛合手段を備え;
(c)前記標準フォーク対の前記直立部分に着脱自在に
掛合して前記リンクに対して完全に横に片寄った関係で
前記フレーム上に垂直に前記直立部分を支持するため前
記掛合手段に隣接すると共にこの掛合手段の前記下向き
面の前方にある夫々の上向き面を有する前記フレームに
取付けられた横断取付手段を備えたこと;を特徴とする
押し引き装置。 2、前記フレームが下端をもち、前記フレーム上の前記
横断取付手段の前記上向き面が前記フレームの前記下端
までよりも前記掛合手段の前記下向き面までの方が垂直
方向で近くなるように位置することを特徴とする特許請
求の範囲第1項記載の装置。 3、前記フレームがその下端に隣接した一対の前向きの
、横と垂直に延在する面を画成する手段を含み、前記面
は前記横断取付手段の各前記上向き面の直下で前記リン
クに対して横に片寄った関係に置かれると共に前記上向
き面と前方向でほぼ同じ広さを有することを特徴とする
特許請求の範囲第2項記載の装置。 4、前記横断取付手段の各前記上向き面が前記リンクの
外で横方向にかつ前記リンクの両側に位置することを特
徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載の装置。 5、前記動力手段は前記押し板を完全に引込ませるとき
前記リンクを回動させて、前記フォークが前記横断取付
手段によって前記フレーム上に支持されたとき前記標準
フォーク対の前記直立位置に対して後方に異なる関係で
ほぼ垂直に延在する位置へ移すための手段を含むことを
特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載の装置。 6、前記フォークリフトトラックキャリジに対して横方
向に前記フレームと前記標準フォークを一緒に選択的に
動かすため前記フォーク上に設けた手段を含むことを特
徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載の装置。
Claims: 1. A vertically movable forklift truck having an upward facing surface removably supporting a pair of standard oaks having an elongated upright portion and an elongated load bearing portion extending forward from the bottom of the upright portion. A push-pull device for mounting on a track carriage having horizontally extending fork mounting members at the top of the carriage, comprising: (a) an upright frame;
a push/pull assembly including a push plate and power means mounted on the frame for selectively extending and retracting the push plate relative to the frame, the power means having respective horizontally extending turns; (b) an elongate forwardly extending link connected to the frame and the pusher plate for pivoting the frame relative to the pusher plate about a pivot axis; comprising engaging means on said frame having a downwardly facing surface on which it rests freely and supportably;
(c) adjacent to said engagement means for removably engaging said upright portion of said standard fork pair to support said upright portion vertically on said frame in a fully offset relationship relative to said link; and a transverse attachment means attached to said frame having a respective upwardly facing surface in front of said downwardly facing surface of said engaging means. 2. The frame has a lower end and is located such that the upwardly facing surface of the transverse attachment means on the frame is vertically closer to the downwardly facing surface of the engaging means than to the lower end of the frame. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that: 3. said frame including means for defining a pair of forward-facing, laterally and vertically extending surfaces adjacent its lower end, said surfaces being adjacent to said link immediately below each said upwardly facing surface of said transverse attachment means; 3. The device of claim 2, wherein the device is placed in a laterally offset relationship and has approximately the same extent in a forward direction as the upwardly facing surface. 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein each said upwardly facing surface of said transverse attachment means is located laterally outside said link and on opposite sides of said link. 5. The power means rotates the link when fully retracting the pusher plate relative to the upright position of the standard fork pair when the fork is supported on the frame by the transverse mounting means. 2. Apparatus as claimed in claim 1, including means for moving rearwardly into a position extending generally vertically in a different relationship. 6. The apparatus of claim 1 including means on said fork for selectively moving said frame and said standard fork together laterally relative to said forklift truck carriage. .
