。Once a printed circuit board has been manufactured, modifications due to design errors or circuit changes due to the addition of functions must be done manually by cutting the printed circuit board pattern and wiring lead wires between the pads. Therefore, there is a strong demand for an automated method for modifying printed circuit boards.

The lead 41 of the mounted component 4 is inserted into the through hole 2 of the printed circuit board 1 and bonded by solder dip. When performing this, a conductor pattern (not shown) of the printed circuit board is cut, and wiring between the pads 3 due to circuit changes is manually performed using lead wires.

に、多大の工数を要するという問題点があった。In the above-mentioned conventional method for modifying printed circuit boards, after cutting the conductor pattern due to the circuit change, the wiring between the pads is manually soldered with the lead wires, but this wiring is not congested. This poses a problem in that reliability decreases due to lead wire wiring errors or lack of soldering strength, and a large amount of man-hours are required.

The lead 41 of the mounted component 4 is inserted into the through hole 2 of the printed circuit board 1 and bonded by solder dip. When carrying out this process, the conductor pattern (not shown) of the printed circuit board 1 is cut to accommodate the wiring (which intersects as shown in Fig. 2(b)) between the pads 3 due to the circuit change. The lead wire 8 is positioned in a plane as shown in FIG. 1(C), and the lead wire 8 is fixed with resin or the like.
