Detailed Description of the Invention (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a gutter used in a bridge expansion joint such as a long bridge, and more specifically, the gutter material of the gutter is made of a highly flexible elastic sheet such as rubber. The present invention relates to the gutter, which is made of a gutter material, and in which the side wall of the gutter is formed continuously and integrally with the gutter material without adhering a separate member.

(Conventional technology) In recent years, with the remarkable progress in bridge construction technology, large-scale bridge construction works such as today's bridge are being carried out in various places, but especially for long bridges with a length of over 1000 m. Generally, a large relative displacement of up to 2,000 m in the bridge axis direction occurs between bridges and abutments or at the joints between bridges, so a special large-scale link-type expansion joint device is inserted here to absorb the displacement and The road surface on the bridge is continuous two-dimensionally, allowing vehicles to run stably.

A large number of comb-shaped fingers (5), (5)' horizontally protruding from each cross beam (3), (3)' along the bridge axis direction (x) are connected to each other so as to be movable in parallel through the cross beams (3), (3)'. The fingers are slidably assembled and their free ends are movably placed on the upper surface of an intermediate cross beam (6) horizontally supported between the four-bar link mechanisms (4) and (4)'. (:5), (5)' are always held horizontally while absorbing the amount of displacement of the bridge connection part. (Refer to Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-32173) Furthermore, in the link type expansion joint device described above, the gap (7) between the fingers (5) and (5)' from the road surface
In order to collect and discharge rainwater, dirt, etc. that have flowed into the bridge, a horizontally long gutter perpendicular to the bridge axis direction (X) is installed in the space between the cross beams (3), (3)' and the intermediate cross beam (6). It is arranged.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, with the metal gutter as described above, the gutter resonates due to vibrations caused by running vehicles, etc., causing noise, and when trying to increase the amount of expansion and contraction in the bridge axis direction. The entire gutter becomes larger and larger installation requires space, and the gutter parts (

In order to overcome this inconvenience, as a gutter for an expansion joint device, a rubber gutter used for elevated bridges with a relatively small amount of expansion and contraction, i.e., as shown in FIG. (13)' and the gutter material (2) are formed separately and then joined together, and the thickness of the joined part is larger than the other parts, which hinders the flexibility of this part. When a bridge expansion joint has a large amount of expansion and contraction, bending stress concentrates there, causing the joint to easily peel or crack, leading to the risk of water leakage, and there remains room for further improvement in this regard.

In the gutter of the present invention, at the expansion joint (22) between the bridges (21) and (21)', the fingers (39),
(39)' is a horizontally elongated gutter with a U-shaped cross section that is arranged substantially horizontally and perpendicular to the bridge axis (X), and the gutter material (41) forming the groove bottom is entirely made of rubber. The side wall (50) of the gutter material (41) is formed by folding and joining the end sides (47) of the gutter material (41). 41) is formed continuously and integrally.

(39)' Gutter material (41) catches rainwater and pebbles that fall from the gap, and as the expansion joint (22) moves, the gutter material (41)
When bending, the boundary between the bottom of the gutter material (41) and the side wall (50) is removed because the side wall (50) is formed continuously and integrally with the gutter material (41), and there is no stress concentration due to joints. This will greatly improve the durability of the gutter without causing any cracks or damage.

The gutter (40) having the above configuration is attached to the expansion joint device (22) in the manner shown in FIG. The side wall (50) folded into a bellows shape is made of gutter material (41
) is formed continuously and integrally with the bottom of the support plate (62), so no local stress is applied and uniform flexibility is exhibited. This prevents it from falling in and out when it expands and contracts, and prevents rainwater from flowing out.

In each of the above embodiments, the case where the gutter is attached to a large link type expansion joint device used for a bridge with a large amount of expansion and contraction, such as a long bridge, has been described, but the scope of application of the gutter of the present invention is not limited to this. For example, it is not limited to expansion joints of expressway viaducts
Of course, it is also possible to apply this method to a joint portion which has a relatively small amount of expansion and contraction, such as the one shown in Japanese Pat.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the gutter of the present invention bends the gutter material of the gutter, which has a U-shaped side cross section and is arranged substantially horizontally and perpendicular to the bridge axis, under the fingers of the bridge expansion joint, like rubber. It is made of a horizontally rectangular elastic sheet material with high elasticity, and its side walls are formed continuously and integrally with the gutter material by folding and joining the ends of the gutter material, so that the bottom and side walls of the gutter material are There is no seam at the boundary between the sections, and even when the gutter groove width changes according to the displacement of the bridge expansion joint, no local bending stress is applied, so the life of the gutter is greatly extended. This has the excellent effect of increasing the interval between gutter replacements and making maintenance easier.

Moreover, according to the gutter of the present invention, there is no need to join the bellows part that makes up the side wall and the gutter material that makes up the groove bottom, unlike in conventional rubber gutters, making manufacturing easier. By reducing the weight of the side walls of the gutter, it can be expected that rainwater can be prevented from flowing out due to downward bending of the gutter end.
