To prevent deformation of the fitting frame and to attach it to the building frame, stays are fixed to the fitting frame at appropriate intervals. Conventionally, however, when installing stays, the stays were positioned by marking the installation positions at predetermined intervals at the stage of assembling the fitting frame, and then the stays were fixed by welding. As a result, the surface treatment layer applied to the surface of the fitting frame as an anti-rust treatment such as plating or anti-rust coating is destroyed, resulting in the disadvantage that the welded part must be repaired after the stay is fixed. Furthermore, there were disadvantages such as distortion caused by welding heat and the installation of the stay requiring skill and considerable effort.

The feature of this invention is that a tenon hole is provided at the mounting position of the stay in the fitting frame, and each stay is composed of a pair of members, and the end of one of the members is inserted into the tenon hole to assemble the pair of members. The stay is fixed by inserting the angle piece of one member into the hole of the other member and bending it.

Next, description will be given with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 1 and 2 show the entirety of a fittings frame, and include various frames to which the present invention relates, such as a steel door frame and a sash frame made of extruded aluminum.
As shown in the figure, stays 2 are fixed around the fitting frame 1 at predetermined intervals. These stays 2 are installed in a bridge shape across opposing edge portions of the fittings frame 1. The conventional stay was attached using a welded joint 3, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and therefore had the above-mentioned drawbacks.

As shown in FIGS. 5 to 9, the stay mounting structure according to the present invention is such that the stays 2 are mounted at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction on opposing edge portions 1a and 1b of the fitting frame 1, respectively. A tenon hole 4 is formed in the stay, and it is preferable that the tenon hole 4 is an elongated hole that receives the entire width of the below-mentioned member of the stay. Each stay 2 includes a pair of members 2a stacked on top of each other,
2b, and the end of each member is uneven so that it can fit into the end of the corresponding member.
That is, in the illustrated embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, one end of the first member 2a placed on the outside is bent at a right angle to form a cutout 6, and the other end is bent at a right angle. A protruding piece 5 is provided. The second member 2b placed on the other side, that is, on the inside, also has the eighth
As shown in the drawings and FIG. 9, a projection piece 7 is provided at one end, and the other end is bent at a right angle to form a notch 8. The protruding piece 5 is fitted into the notch 8, and the protruding piece 7 is fitted into the notch 6. In this embodiment, one end of each member is bent at right angles, but it is only necessary that one of the opposing ends be bent when the members are stacked, so in some cases one end may be bent. One member may be folded at both ends and the other member may be folded at both ends.

Furthermore, an angle piece 9 is formed in one member 2a, and a hole 10 for receiving the angle piece 9 is formed in the other member 2b. Although these angle pieces 9 and holes 10 are preferably located at the center of each member as shown, they do not necessarily need to be located at the center, and may be located at a position offset to either side. Alternatively, the angle pieces 9 do not need to be a pair, and may be one. The tenon hole 4 in the fitting frame 1 and each member 2a, 2b of the stay 2 can be easily formed by press working.

When attaching the stay 2 to the door frame 1, as shown in Figs. 10 and 11, one end of one member 2a is inserted into one of the mortise holes 4 of the door frame from the outside, and the other member 2b is attached from the inside, and one end of the member 2b is inserted into the other mortise hole 4 and overlapped.
The protruding pieces 5, 7 of each member are fitted into the corresponding notches 8, 6, respectively, and an angle piece 9 is inserted into a hole 10. In this state, the angle piece 9 is bent and crimped to join the pair of members of the stay together, and thus the stay 2 is fixed to the door frame 1.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the edge portion 1a of the fitting frame 1
and 1b, their surfaces are perpendicular to each other, but as shown in Figure 12, some fitting frames have extended surfaces on the same plane, and in this case, Both ends of one member 2a of the stay are bent and inserted into the tenon hole 4.

When the stay 2 is attached to the fitting frame 1, the tenon hole 4 of the fitting frame and the end of the stay member fit together, and the angle piece 9 of the stay member passes through the hole 10 and is bent, so that the members are mutually connected. Since they are connected, the stays are firmly fixed, and deformation of the frame such as widening of the expected width of the fittings frame or narrowing is prevented.

Therefore, according to the present invention, since the stays are not welded, the treated layer on the surface of the fitting frame is not destroyed by welding heat, and there is no problem such as deformation due to thermal strain. In addition, the stay can be easily attached, and the stay can be attached efficiently without requiring any skill as in the past.
