Conventionally, a method of pasting a decorative sheet on the surface of the main panel by vacuum forming method (for example,
-106650) is known. This method involves creating a large number of holes in the core material of a molded plastic panel, applying an adhesive, placing two plastic synthetic resin sheets on the surface of the main panel, and heating and softening the decorative sheets. At the same time, the decorative sheet is attached to the surface of the panel body by vacuum suction from the back side of the panel body through the holes in the molded panel, and the decorative sheet can be adhered to the surface of the panel body along the uneven pattern formed on the panel body, making it ideal for furniture. It is widely used for cabinet materials and door facing materials, but it is necessary to provide many holes for suction, and the holes tend to appear on the surface and it is time-consuming to apply adhesive to the uneven surface of the molded panel. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 1, if the frame-like concave pattern provided on the main part of the decorative panel is square or other rectangular shape, the productivity is low compared to the parts other than the corners. The following problems arose due to the increased elongation of the decorative sheet that was brought into close contact with the corners.

That is, when vacuum suction is performed, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the decorative sheet a comes into close contact with the surface of the panel main body b, and also comes into close contact along the inner and outer peripheral wall surfaces of the concave pattern portion c. However, in order to make it stick to the corner d, it is necessary to make it stick from the side wall surface of the concave pattern part c to the bottom surface and then extend it further.
It becomes difficult to achieve sufficient adhesion due to the tensile action from the sheet portion that was in close contact with the previous sheet portion, and the sheet portion becomes raised at the corner portions, making it difficult to obtain a sharp appearance and resulting in a curved surface. on the other hand,
If adhesive is applied to the back side of the sheet to increase productivity, even if the decorative sheet a is attracted and adheres to the corner part a, the decorative sheet will elongate to a greater extent than other parts and will not adhere tightly. The adhesive layer on the back of the sheet becomes extremely thin and the adhesive strength is weak, and when the decorative sheet a shrinks due to cooling, it peels off from the corners and lifts e, resulting in a sharp appearance. It was difficult to finish it.

The method of the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. The decorative panel main body 1 is made of an air-permeable material such as wood, for example, the main raw material is wood fiber, and a binder such as a synthetic resin is added to the fiber. A concave pattern portion 2 is provided at one or more locations on a panel main body 1 formed by a dry method or a wet method so as to bulge out from the front surface toward the back surface in the shape of a square frame such as a rectangular shape.

At the corner 2a of the frame-like concave pattern portion 2 of the panel main body 1, that is, at the bottom of the continuous corner of the adjacent inner and outer wall surfaces 2b, 2b, 2c, and 2c of the concave pattern portion 2, it extends between both surfaces. After making small holes 3, 3 that pass through the small holes 3, 3 and applying an appropriate adhesive 4 to the surface of the corner 2a around the small holes 3, 3, a box-shaped container (not shown) is connected to a vacuum pump. Then, a thermoplastic resin sheet 6 made of vinyl chloride or the like, whose back surface (lower surface) is fully coated with an adhesive 5, is stretched over the top opening of the box-shaped container.

Next, the thermoplastic resin sheet 6 is heated and softened from the upper surface at a temperature of 80 to 100°C using an appropriate heating means such as infrared rays, and in the softened state, a vacuum pump connected to the inner bottom of the box-shaped container is heated. When activated, the entire decorative panel is made of a breathable material such as wood fiberboard, so the air inside the container is exhausted and the surface of the panel is removed without the need for special ventilation holes. The air pressure is reduced, and the synthetic resin sheet 6 comes into close contact along the entire surface of the panel main body 1.

As described above, in the present invention, when adhering a synthetic resin sheet to the surface of a decorative panel main body provided with a rectangular frame-like concave pattern portion by vacuum forming, the decorative panel main body is made of air-permeable material such as wood fiberboard. material, and apply an adhesive to the back side of the synthetic resin sheet, and at the same time, make a small hole penetrating through the back side at the bottom corner of the frame-like concave pattern portion of the decorative panel main body, and After applying adhesive to the surface near the small holes, a synthetic resin sheet is placed on the front side of the decorative panel main body, and the synthetic resin sheet is heated and softened, and vacuum suction is applied from the back side of the decorative panel main body. Since this relates to a method for manufacturing a sheet overlay decorative panel, which is characterized by applying suction force to the entire surface and bonding and integrating a synthetic resin sheet and a decorative panel, it is possible to create a frame-like shape from the smooth surface of the decorative panel. When the synthetic resin sheet is placed in close contact with the side wall of the concave pattern, a large suction force is actively generated through the small holes drilled in the corners of the concave pattern to ensure that even the surface of the corner is completely covered. It can be brought into close contact with the In other words, since a small hole is previously provided in the corner, a large vacuum suction force is applied to the synthetic resin sheet in the corner, and the synthetic resin sheet is brought into close contact with the adhesive in the corner with great pressure. I can do it. Further, since the small holes need only be provided at the corners of the bottom surface of the concave pattern, they are not visible from the surface of the product and have the advantage that they do not impair the appearance. In addition, since the main body of the decorative panel is made of an air permeable material such as wood fiberboard, when suction is drawn from the back of the decorative panel, it can be absorbed from the flat surface of the decorative panel without having to provide extra holes in the decorative panel that serves as the core material. The synthetic resin sheet can be evenly adhered to the inner wall surface of the concave pattern, and there is no need to use two synthetic resin sheets as in the conventional case, and the core material surface can be covered with one synthetic resin sheet. Another advantage is that the sharpness of the corners of the decorative panel can be brought out as is. Furthermore, since the adhesive is applied to the surface near the small hole in the corner, there is no shortage of adhesive due to the stretching of the synthetic resin sheet when it enters the corner (i.e., as the sheet stretches, the adhesive also stretches). (The adhesive becomes thinner by that amount.) can be supplemented with another adhesive applied to the corners of the decorative panel. As a result, peeling due to poor adhesion at the concave corners does not occur, and for example, when cooled When the decorative sheet shrinks, it is possible to reliably prevent the sheet from peeling off at the corners due to the concentration of tensile stress, and it is possible to obtain a sheet overlay decorative panel having a sharp concave pattern. . In addition, since the adhesive is applied to the entire back surface of the synthetic resin sheet, it is sufficient to apply the adhesive to a flat sheet surface, and the adhesive can be efficiently applied using equipment such as a roll coater.
