本発明は生体内の骨組織内に埋設して用いる生体修復用
インプラント材に係り、特に歯槽骨に植立させ歯科治療
用に用いる多重毛管構造を有する歯科用インプラント材

インプラント材に係り、特に歯槽骨に植立させ歯科治療
用に用いる多重毛管構造を有する歯科用インプラント材
に関するものである。
[従来の技術]
生体工学の発展ならびに生体材料の研究開発に伴って歯
科治療、整形外科の分野において、骨組織内に人工歯根
や人工骨としてインプラント材を埋入する治療が行なわ
れている。生体内で用いられる修復材料は、生体を構成
している物質と類似した分子構造をもった高分子材料よ
りもむしろ生体系から縁遠い金属材料もしくはセラミッ
ク材料が生体内での安定性が高いといわれている。さら
に生体修復材料は細胞や組織などに対して刺激性や毒性
のないこと、生体内で物理的、化学的変化を起さないこ
と、特にその機械的強度に変化のないこと、外力に十分
に耐えられること、材料と周囲組織との密着性が良好で
あることなどが要求される。
科治療、整形外科の分野において、骨組織内に人工歯根
や人工骨としてインプラント材を埋入する治療が行なわ
れている。生体内で用いられる修復材料は、生体を構成
している物質と類似した分子構造をもった高分子材料よ
りもむしろ生体系から縁遠い金属材料もしくはセラミッ
ク材料が生体内での安定性が高いといわれている。さら
に生体修復材料は細胞や組織などに対して刺激性や毒性
のないこと、生体内で物理的、化学的変化を起さないこ
と、特にその機械的強度に変化のないこと、外力に十分
に耐えられること、材料と周囲組織との密着性が良好で
あることなどが要求される。
これらの要求をほぼ満たす生体材料としては、純Au、
Pt、 Ti、 Zr、 Ta等の金属、Au系合金
、pt系合金、 Ti系合金、Zr系合金、Go−Cr
系合金、Fe−Ni−Cr系合金およびAl2O3、Z
rO2、Si3N4 、アパタイト結晶化ガラスなどの
セラミ−2り材料が知られており、これらの金属および
/又はセラミックの複合材よりなるインプラント材も各
種提案されている。
Pt、 Ti、 Zr、 Ta等の金属、Au系合金
、pt系合金、 Ti系合金、Zr系合金、Go−Cr
系合金、Fe−Ni−Cr系合金およびAl2O3、Z
rO2、Si3N4 、アパタイト結晶化ガラスなどの
セラミ−2り材料が知られており、これらの金属および
/又はセラミックの複合材よりなるインプラント材も各
種提案されている。
インプラント材の歯槽骨内維持固定は埋設されたインプ
ラント材表面に対する骨組織、骨様組織および線維性組
織などとの結合様式に大きく依存している。そのため従
来の純Ti、 Zr、 Ta金属等あるいはこれらの合
金やセラミックを素材として形成された板状インプラン
ト材にはベントと称する空孔を設け、この空孔に増殖侵
入する骨組織の投錨効果によってインプラント材の歯槽
骨内維持固定が図られている。また、多孔性セラミック
、サーメツト材あるいは純TiおよびTi系合金の焼結
体を素材とした多孔質インプラント材では、その気孔も
しくは細隙への骨組織の侵入増生によりインプラント材
と骨組織との強力な結合力が付与されインプラント材の
顎骨内維持力が保持されている。

[発明が解決しようとする問題点]
しかしながら、従来公知の金属あるいは合金またはセラ
ミ・!りより形成した例えばブレードベント型やコアベ
ント型インプラント材は孔径が1mm以上の大1gな単
一孔径の空孔を有するものであり、したがってこの大型
空孔内に増生侵入する骨組織の投錨効果によってのみイ
ンプラント材は歯槽骨内に維持されることになる。しか
しこの骨組織が病的原因もしくは咬合衝撃や咬合応力の
集中を受は破折または損傷を受けた場合甚だしくIh揺
し、遂には脱落して人工歯根は失敗に終る症例も少なく
ない。

本発明者等は斯かる従来技術に残された課題を解決すべ
く鋭意研究の結果本発明に達し益に提案するものである

[問題点を解決するための手段]
すなわち、本発明の特色とするところはriI槽骨内に
埋設する体部(板状部)と人工歯を装着する頭部(柱状
部)とを有する歯科用インプラント材において、板状部
に直径0.01〜5mmの範囲の管孔径の異なる二種類
以上の管孔を穿設した多重毛管構造を有する歯科用イン
プラント材を提供するところにある。

本発明の多重毛管インプラント材は、歯槽骨にスリット
を形成し、該スリット内にインプラント材の板状部を挿
入植立させる。板状部には直径0.01〜5mmの管孔
径の異なる二種類以上の管孔が、板状部の全面積の約2
0〜60%の面積を占める割合で穿設される。この為時
間の経過に伴なって間胚英系細胞、とくに線雑芽細胞の
管孔内部への侵入増生が起り、管孔径が0.05mm以
上の場合は骨様組織をつくり、管孔径がさらに大きくな
れば骨組織の管孔内部への侵入増生がみられる。そして
板状部は14i槽骨内に強固に維持固定されることにな
る。

ザービーム法、放電加工法および機械的7孔法などを適

本発明におけるインプラント材の体部は板状(第1図)
を基本形とし、vl状(第3図)や水平板状(第4図)
のもの、さらには体部と頭部とを分離可能にしたもの(

[発明の効果]
本発明は多重毛管構造を有するインプラント材であり従
来のベント型インプラント材と異なり1〜5mmの大型
管孔のほかに0.01〜1mmまでの微細な管孔をも多
相に包含している。骨組織の侵入は大きな管孔径はど容
易で管孔径が小ざくなるにしたがって骨組織の増生侵入
はなくなり、骨様組織、線雑組織と次第に軟組織化して
くる。そしてこの微細管孔内には骨組織の増生侵入は起
らず!I線維組織増生侵入のみが確認される。

相に包含している。骨組織の侵入は大きな管孔径はど容
易で管孔径が小ざくなるにしたがって骨組織の増生侵入
はなくなり、骨様組織、線雑組織と次第に軟組織化して
くる。そしてこの微細管孔内には骨組織の増生侵入は起
らず!I線維組織増生侵入のみが確認される。
したがって大型管孔内に増生侵入した骨組織が何らかの
原因によって破折もしくは損傷を受けても、微細管孔内
に増生侵入した神様組織や線維性組織は骨組織とは異な
り弾性係数が低く、耐衝撃性が高いので破砕裂断される
ことがない、またこの線維組織の纏絡によってインプラ
ント材は歯槽骨内に維持され脱落は防止される。この脱
落防止効果は前記骨組織の破断面の再癒着と骨の再形成
を助長し、インプラント材の歯槽骨内での強固な維持を
回復させる効果をもたらす、このインプラント材の維持
回復力は本発明者等が先に提案した特願昭58−189
050号のポリウレタン緩衝材料を併用することにより
さらに大きな効果が期待できる。
原因によって破折もしくは損傷を受けても、微細管孔内
に増生侵入した神様組織や線維性組織は骨組織とは異な
り弾性係数が低く、耐衝撃性が高いので破砕裂断される
ことがない、またこの線維組織の纏絡によってインプラ
ント材は歯槽骨内に維持され脱落は防止される。この脱
落防止効果は前記骨組織の破断面の再癒着と骨の再形成
を助長し、インプラント材の歯槽骨内での強固な維持を
回復させる効果をもたらす、このインプラント材の維持
回復力は本発明者等が先に提案した特願昭58−189
050号のポリウレタン緩衝材料を併用することにより
さらに大きな効果が期待できる。

本発明による多重毛管構造を有するインプラント材の外
観はあたかも骨組織の骨梁構造に似ていることが、その
点を如実に示している。

本発明における多重毛管構造を有するインプラント材の
管孔の地理学的分布は、従来の多孔質インプラント材と
は異なり、エレクトロビーム法、レーザービーム法、放
電加工法および機械的芽孔法などによって管孔径の割合
や分布を人為的に構築することができる。したがってイ
ンプラント材に負荷される荷重の方向(症例)によって
最適な管孔径の分布を作りだすことができるので1人工
歯根の成功率はさらに高くなる。

[実施例]
以下第1図について本発明の詳細な説明すると、本発明
の多重毛管構造を有する歯科用インプラント材は歯槽骨
内に埋設する板状部1と人工歯を装着する頭部2を備え
ている。インプラント材料は人体組織に対し最も為害性
の少ないTi、 ZrおよびTa等の単体の金属を素材
として形成することが好ましいが、 Ti系合金、Zr
系合金、Fe−Xl−Cr系合金、 Ca−Cr系合金
またはAl2O3、ZrO2、アパタイト結晶化ガラス
およびSi3N4などのセラミック材料を使用しても差
支えない0本実施例にあっては純Ti板を用いその板状
部lの面積を約100mm2 とし、厚みを約1.3m
mとした。板状部には骨組織、骨様組織、線誰性組織が
それぞれ侵入して増殖発育する管孔径0.01〜5mm
の範囲の貫通孔を設けるが1本実施例(第1図)のイン
プラント材ではインプラント材の寸法からの制約ならび
に工業的加工の容易さを考慮し、管孔径1mm、管孔径
0.1mm、管孔径0.3mmの三種類の貫通孔3.4
.5を板状部lに?設した。なお、板状部lの多孔度は
本実施例では約30%とした。

Claims (1)
- 歯槽骨内に埋設する体部(板状部)と人工歯を装着する
頭部(柱状部)とを有する歯科用インプラント材におい
て板状部に直径0.01〜5mmの範囲の管孔径の異な
る少なくとも二種類以上の管孔を穿設形成することを特
徴とする多重毛管構造を有する歯科用インプラント材。
