Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the analysis of a fault by ORing a debug start command generated from a debug trigger circuit of itself and a debug command given from other information processing unit so as to apply its own debug processing and to send a debug command to other information processing unit.
CONSTITUTION: A signal line 103 for debug command of an information processing unit 13 is started by a debug trigger circuit 2 placed in the informa tion processing unit 13 and a debug command is sent to an information processing unit 11 through the signal line 103 and the debug processing circuit 3 of the information processing unit 13 is started. An OR gate 4 for debug of the information processing unit 11 applies OR processing. Then the debug command is sent to the information processing unit 12 through a signal line 101 to start simultaneously the debug processing circuit 3 of the information processing unit 11. When the information processing unit 10 receives a debug command on the signal line 101, the OR processing is applied by the OR gate 4 for debug in the information processing unit 12 and the debug command is sent to the information processing unit 13 through the signal line 102.
