(Background technology) Conventional methods for coloring wood include chemical coloring, dyeing, and steam heat treatment, and methods for coloring wood impregnated with synthetic resin include dyeing the synthetic resin that is injected into the wood and impregnating it. A publicly known technique is to add a coloring agent such as a pigment, and then impregnate wood with the colored synthetic resin to color the wood.

■ When the synthetic resin to be impregnated is colored and treated, there will be a difference in shade between the vessel and other parts, and synthetic resin-impregnated wood with a color similar to the desired color can be obtained.

However, when colored synthetic resins are used, the types of synthetic resins that can be colored are limited by the number of tanks that store the colored synthetic resins. Furthermore, when switching to another colored synthetic resin, there is a risk of color mixing unless the synthetic resin adhering to the inside of the vacuum cooker, piping, etc. is sufficiently removed. That is, there was a problem in that it hindered the production of a wide variety of products in small quantities.

This colored wood is impregnated with a synthetic resin using conventional vacuum and pressure methods, and semi-cured using hot air. Then,
A colored synthetic resin containing a coloring agent (dye, pigment, etc.) is applied to the surface of the wood and cured under heat and pressure.

In this way, the colored synthetic resin penetrates into the pipes of wood (particularly hardwood), and when pressure is applied, it is pushed into the pipes and hardens, making the pipes darker and highlighting the wood grain. It is an object of the present invention to easily obtain synthetic resin-impregnated colored wood.

Next, the veneer is placed in a processing pot either as a raw material or after being dried, and steam is supplied into the processing pot to heat the veneer at 100 to 150°.
Heat and pressure treatment is performed at a temperature of C and a pressure of about 2 to 1 DEG for about 10 minutes to 3 hours.

After finishing the coloring treatment, the veneer is dried to a moisture content of 1.
Keep it below 0%. The dried veneer is subjected to reduced pressure,
The veneer is placed in a pressure cooker, and a synthetic resin such as unsaturated polyester or methyl methacrylate is injected into the veneer to impregnate it using conventionally known methods such as reduced pressure and pressurization. After the impregnation is completed, the synthetic resin adhering to the surface of the veneer is removed, and then the veneer is heated to a semi-cured state using hot air.

Next, the semi-cured veneer is placed on a plywood coated with an adhesive in advance, and adhered to the plywood by hot-pressing. After the molding is completed, a synthetic resin colored with a coloring agent (dye, pigment, etc.) is applied to the surface of the veneer using a flow coater, etc., and the colored synthetic resin is permeated into the vessel portion of the veneer and hardened by hot pressure molding.

Note that the synthetic resin applied to the surface is preferably the same as the synthetic resin used during impregnation, but of course A-Yuzu synthetic resin may also be used. In addition, the blending ratio of the synthetic resin should be the same as that used during impregnation, or it is better to use a synthetic resin with a slightly diluted (lower viscosity) blending ratio.

Then, if necessary, the surface of the veneer can be polished, painted, etc. to make it look less like synthetic resin-impregnated colored wood. In addition, the colored synthetic resin is applied to the semi-cured veneer, and this veneer is placed on the plywood coated with adhesive.
It may also be hot-press molded.

The veneer was colored. Further, apply a dyeing solution (Numinol Milling Brown 3G 2.0 parts by weight PFGMAI, 70 parts by weight of water) at a coating rate of 100 to 12 (1/m (on both sides)). A time dyeing treatment is performed. After the treatment is completed, drying is performed until the moisture content becomes 7% or less.

Next, the dried veneer was placed in a vacuum pot and evacuated under a reduced pressure of 10 torr or less for at least 1 hour, followed by adding 2 parts by weight of non-tms polyester/l/Zoo, 20 parts by weight of styrene monomer, and 2 parts by weight of BPO. The synthetic resin prepared by blending was poured into a vacuum pot, and after being left under reduced pressure for a few minutes, the pressure was returned to normal and the veneer was impregnated with the synthetic resin for over 5 hours. The veneer was taken out of the pot, the synthetic resin adhering to the surface of the veneer was removed, and then placed in a hot air dryer at 120-130"C for 14 minutes to semi-cure the synthetic resin.
