The present invention relates to hair cosmetics, and in particular, gel-like hair that moisturizes and soothes hair, imparts luster to the hair, is non-sticky, makes hair easier to comb, and at the same time improves hair brushability. Regarding cosmetics. In recent years, due to the spread of brushing, perming, hair coloring, etc., hair is placed in an environment where it is extremely susceptible to damage. Consumers often complain that their hair is dry and unsmooth, lacks shine, and has poor brushability. Therefore, there is a desire for hair cosmetics that moisturize and soothe hair and improve shine and brushability. In addition, since hair comes into direct contact with the skin of the nape of the neck and is always touched by hands when caring for it, a sticky and heavy feel is completely disliked. Therefore, a stable emulsion system without stickiness is also a desirable condition for hair cosmetics. Among the hair cosmetics on the market, many claim to solve consumers' hair-related concerns and keep hair beautiful and healthy, but in reality, very few hair cosmetics fully meet the above conditions. I can't find it. That is,
Conventional hair cosmetics contain a large amount of oil, resulting in a heavy, sticky finish. On the other hand, attempts have been made to achieve a light and silky finish by reducing the amount of oil in hair cosmetics, but no matter how much oil is reduced, the stickiness is slightly reduced. There is no significant effect just by applying it, and the shine and brushability are significantly reduced. Additionally, attempts have been made to use oils with low surface tension, viscosity, and melting point; for example, patents are known in which methylpolysiloxane is mixed and dissolved in diol derivatives or branched aliphatic alcohols. The main purpose of this method is to uniformly adhere the active ingredients of hair cosmetics to the surface of the hair, reduce friction between the hairs and between the hair and the brush or comb, and protect the hair from mechanical stimulation. That is. However, such non-sticky oils with low surface tension are extremely hydrophobic, making the hair frizzy (not moist and calm).
Moreover, it has the disadvantage of being inferior in cleaning ability (shampoo cleaning performance). An object of the present invention is to provide a hair cosmetic that makes hair moist and calm, improves brushability, reduces stickiness, and makes hair easier to comb. The hair cosmetic of the present invention has the general formula: (In the formula, one or two of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are long-chain alkyl groups with 8 to 24 carbon atoms, the rest are alkyl groups with 1 or 2 carbon atoms, and X is a halogen It is an alkyl sulfuric acid having an alkyl group having 1 or 2 atoms or carbon atoms.One or two quaternary ammonium salts represented by
0.5 to 4.0% by weight of species or higher, 0.7 to 5.0% by weight of linear saturated alcohols with 14 to 22 carbon atoms, 8 to 20 carbon atoms
0.1 to 3.0% by weight of a condensate of fatty acid and polypeptide, and 0.2 to 7.0% of one or more polymolecular chain emulsifiers to which polyoxyethylene is added.
It is characterized by containing % by weight. The quaternary ammonium salt represented by the above general formula is of the mono-long chain alkyl type or di-long chain alkyl type, or a mixture thereof, and exhibits cationic properties, so that the composition of the present invention may be applied to the hair. It is an essential component for effective adsorption. When the long chain alkyl group of this quaternary ammonium salt has 7 or less carbon atoms, its water solubility becomes high, and in an aqueous system, its dispersion in water becomes stronger than its adsorption to hair, that is, the adsorption rate to hair increases. becomes very low. Furthermore, even if adsorbed to hair, the hair softening effect is extremely low because the chain length of the alkyl group is short.
On the other hand, when the number of carbon atoms in the long chain alkyl group of the quaternary ammonium salt exceeds 24, the cationicity becomes small and the adsorption rate to hair decreases, and even if adsorbed, the chain length of the alkyl group is long. As a result, the smoothness of the hair is significantly reduced. In addition, the number of long chain alkyl groups is 3
If the number is 1 or 4, the cationic property will be poor and the same problems as mentioned above will occur, which is not preferable. Saturated alcohols having 14 to 22 carbon atoms are
It forms a pair with grade ammonium salt and adsorbs to the hair.
In particular, it increases the water retention capacity of the hair and soothes the hair. When the number of carbon atoms in this saturated alcohol is 13 or less,
It is less effective in calming hair, and even if the number of carbon atoms exceeds 22, the effect in calming hair is weak. Also, unsaturated alcohols do not pair efficiently with quaternary ammonium salts and do not provide the above-mentioned properties to the hair. A fatty acid polypeptide condensate is a condensate of a fatty acid having 8 to 20 carbon atoms and, for example, a protein decomposition product (polypeptide) having a molecular weight of 200 to 2,000. , in the form of sodium salts, potassium salts, and alcohol amine salts. This fatty acid polypeptide condensate adsorbs to the surface of hair that has been damaged by brushing, perming, hair coloring, etc., and has the effect of repairing hair damage. When the number of carbon atoms in the fatty acid is 7 or less, the amount of fatty acid adsorbed to the hair is small, and even if it is adsorbed, the effect of making the hair glossy is weak. Furthermore, if the number of carbon atoms in the fatty acid exceeds 20, the effect of suppressing dry hair will be poor. On the other hand, when the molecular weight of the polypeptide is less than 200, the effect of restoring damaged hair is weak, and when it exceeds 2000, the hair becomes hard, which is not preferable. The contents of the quaternary ammonium salt, saturated alcohol, and fatty acid polypeptide described above in the hair cosmetic are 0.5 to 4.0% by weight and 0.7 to 5.0% by weight, respectively.
% by weight, and 0.1 to 3.0% by weight, and exhibits specific effects within these ranges. In order for the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention to uniformly adsorb onto the hair surface and exist as a stable dispersion composition to maintain its commercial value, in addition to the above-mentioned components, it is necessary to add polyoxyethylene to the hair cosmetic composition. It is necessary to contain a chain emulsifier. Examples of the emulsifier include polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil ether, fatty acid ester of polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil ether, polyoxyethylene glyceryl fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, and polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester. It is one or more kinds of ethylene sorbitol fatty acid esters, and the content is 0.2 to 7.0% by weight. It is possible to incorporate other optional ingredients into the hair cosmetic of the present invention within a range that does not affect the effects of the present invention. Such optional ingredients include various natural or synthetic oils; amino acids; crude drugs; polymeric substances;
Moisturizers such as propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, glycerin, sorbitol, and ethanol; solvents; and minor components such as bactericides, fragrances, and pigments. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention can be applied to various uses such as hair lotion, hair conditioner, and hair rinse. Next, Examples will be shown that more specifically demonstrate the effects of the hair cosmetic of the present invention. In addition, before explaining each example, the test method adopted in each example will be explained. (1) Performance After the hair cosmetic is applied or sprayed on the hair at a ratio of 0.5 g to 10 g of hair, the moisturizing feeling, manageability, shine, brushability, and dryness of the hair are evaluated as follows. The evaluation criteria were based on a typical well-known general purpose rinse composition consisting of 1% by weight stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, 3% by weight cetyl alcohol, 10% by weight propylene glycol, and 86% by weight water. It is a five-level evaluation based on performance. ◎: Good ○: Slightly good △: Same ×: Slightly inferior ××: Inferior (2) Properties Hair cosmetics were sealed in a 100 c.c. glass container and -
The dispersion stability was evaluated by observing the appearance after being stored at 5°C to 40°C for 6 months. ○: No change △: Liquid phase and aqueous phase are slightly separated ×: Oil phase and aqueous phase are clearly separated Example 1 Five types of hair cosmetics having the formulation shown in Table 1 below were prepared, and their Performance and properties were tested.
The results are shown in the same table. As is clear from the same table, even if any one of the quaternary ammonium salt, saturated alcohol, fatty acid polypeptide, and multimolecular chain emulsifier is missing (sample Nos. 1 to 4), the effects of the present invention cannot be achieved. Recognize.
