  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 一端にヨークが取付けられ、それぞれのヨーク
    の軸芯を一致させて配設された一対のヨーク取付
    軸と、 前記ヨーク軸芯に直交し前記一対のヨーク取付
    軸の他端が前記ヨーク軸芯からオフセツトして固
    着された、過大衝撃を受けたときに永久曲げ変形
    を生じる変形プレートとを有し、 前記変形プレートには、前記一対のヨーク取付
    け軸の前記変形プレートへの固着部の間にスリツ
    トが設けられている、 ことを特徴とする過大衝撃時曲げ変形可能なステ
    アリングシヤフト。
