Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は、前後輪間に設けた低床式ステツプフ
ロアの前方にレツグシールドを有するいわゆるス
クータ型の自動二輪車等におけるエンジン冷却装

輪1・2間に設けた低床式ステツプフロア3の前
方にレツグシールド4を有するスクータ型自動二
輪車等に於て、上記ステツプフロア3の後方に水
冷式エンジン5を塔載し、そのエンジン冷却用ラ
ジエータ6を上記レツグシールド下部のステツプ
フロア前方位置に配置し、ラジエータ後方のレツ
グシールド下部に開閉可能な送風口を設けたこと

ンシヨン14とで上下揺動可能に支持されてい

一方ラジエータ6はステツプフロア3の前方に

成した車両に於て、レツグシールド4の下部前面
にラジエータ6を取付け、そのラジエータ6の前
方をカバー18で覆つた例を示す。19はラジエ
ータ6への走行風導入孔で、その孔19から入つ
た走行風はラジエータ6を冷却した後、レツグシ
ールド4の前面を通つてステツプフロア3の下方
に排風する。若しくはラジエータ6の側方に排風
孔を形成して側方に排風する。20は前車輪2が
跳ね上げた泥・水等がラジエータ6内に入るのを

るとよい。又ラジエータ6をレツグシールド4の

してウオータポンプ23等で冷却水を循環させ

に示すようにステツプフロア3の下面側に於てヘ
ツドパイプ24から前記リヤフレーム12に至る
ダウンチユーブ25の左右両側に設けたサイドフ
レーム26,26に添わせて配置する。但し両送
水管22a,22bの少なくともいずれか一方を
ダウンチユーブ25内に配置し、若しくはダウン

閉することにより風景及び風向を調節できるよう
にした例、第7図a,bはレツグシールド4に形
成した扇孔32と略同形同大の孔33を有するロ
ータリダンパ34をレツグシールド4に回動可能
に取付け、そのロータリダンパ34を回動して上
記扇孔32の開孔量を加減することによつて風量

車両に於てもレツグシールド4の下部のあいた空
間を利用してラジエータ6を何ら支障なくコンパ

ア3の前方に位置するので、ダクト等を用いるこ
となくラジエータ6からの温風を直接乗員の足元

輪車等に於て、上記ステツプフロアの後方に水冷
式エンジンを塔載し、そのエンジン冷却用のラジ
エータを上記レツグシールド下部のステツプフロ
ア前方位置に配置し、ラジエータ後方のレツグシ
ールド下部に開閉可能な送風口を設けたスクータ
型自動二輪車等のエンジン冷却装置。1.
