Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、生体中の体液のイオンまたは低分子
量成分を連続的に化学分析するのに用いられるカ
テーテルに関するものである。
医学的診断上非常に重要である体液の分析は今
まで一般に次のようにして行われている。即ち血
液、尿及び胃液(胃の中味)等から体液の試料を
取出し、調整し、ある物質の中味に関し公知の分
析方法で調べる。この方法はその分析結果が試料
の摂取時の1種の即座の記録を表わすにすぎない
ような不連続性を有する欠点がある。急激な変化
がある場合、試料は非常に短時間で試料を摂取し
分析しなければならない。これは非常に労力的に
厳しく、患者に大きな負担をかける。
これらの理由で、しばらくの間連続的な測定に
切換えることが試みられている。この目的のた
め、カテーテルを用いて生体から適当な体液を取
出し、分析し、その後生体に戻していた。後者は
もちろん、ある条件の下でのみ可能である。即ち
例えば、血液は凝固を防ぐためへパリンを加えな
ければならない。体液はしばしば分析によつて影
響を受けるので最早保留することなく生体に戻す
ことができない。この場合には、置換液
(REPLACEMENT OR SUBSTITUTE
FLUID)を供給することによつて助成すること
を試みることができる。
体液中の高分子成分と微粒子成分とはしばしば
分析の障害となるので測定前に除去しなければな
らない。この目的のため、隔膜分析と限外ろ過と
が成功であつたことが証明されている(O.アツ
イツツ氏及びR.デンハルト氏著の「循環血液の
限外ろ過」プフルーゲン誌第341巻(1973年)第
347頁、及びD.ザイラー氏、G.ベルク氏及びF.マ
ツツキーズ氏著の「グリコースの連続測定」ビオ
メツド・テクンツク第19巻(1974年)第134頁参
照)。
それにも拘らず、血液及び他の体液を取出すこ
とは患者に多大の負担がかかつていた。
本発明の目的は、上記の欠点を改善したカテー
テルを提供することにある。
本発明の実施例を図面を参照して詳細に説明す
ると、フイルターカテーテル1は中実であるが可
撓性のある材料(好ましくはプラスチツク)から
成つており、例えば350mmの長さと4mmの直径と
を有する。その頭部には公知の方法で液を供給し
又は取出すための接続部を備えている。
フイルターカテーテル1はその表面の大部分に
半透過性膜2が被覆され、この半透過性膜は体液
中のイオン及び低分子量成分の如き分析すべき物
質を透過するが、体液(例えば血液、尿、胃液)
の高分子部分及び微粒子部分を透過することがな
い。この膜は、支持構造体、例えば縦軸に平行に
延びるか又はフイルターカテーテルの外側に螺旋
巻されたリブ3に取付いている。
少なくとも1つの通路4は膜2の後側のリブ3
間の室に接続されていてろ過物を膜から離れるよ
うに案内する働きを有し、この通路はカテーテル
1の内側に設けられている。多くの場合、ろ過物
を活性洗浄する装置を設けるのが有利である。こ
の目的のため、第2の通路5が設けてあり、洗浄
液はこの通路を通つて供給される。洗浄液はカテ
ーテルの反対端(この場合には上端)で膜2とリ
ブ3との間の中間室20に入る。洗浄液は供給容
器6からポンプ7を用いて管路21を経て通路5
に供給することができる。
カテーテルの表面で終る第3の通路8は体液の
試料を取出したり医薬、例えばカテーテルの表面
で血液の凝固を防止するためのヘパリンの如き凝
固防止剤を導入する働きをすることができる。適
当な注入溶液はポンプ10を用いて第2の供給容
器9から管路22を経て通路8に供給することが
できる。
通路4から来るろ過物は管路23を通つて分析
器11、好ましくは例えばイオン選択電極の如き
電気化学測定センサを有する連続運転分析器に入
る。分析器11の前後にはろ過物管路23に吸引
ポンプ12が設けられている。ポンプ10が注入
溶液に用られる場合には吸引ポンプ12からの搬
送量はその搬送率がポンプ10の搬送率よりもあ
る程度大きくなるように調節されるのが有利で
あ。膜2を通り吸引ポンプ12によつて導出され
る体液の割合は比較的小さいので通常では取出量
の補充の必要がないように患者は液体の連続取出
によつて僅かに負担を受けるだけである。
分析器11ではろ過物は異なつた成分毎に連続
的に調査することができる。ろ過物はどんな場合
も捨て去られることはないので生体に影響を与え
る虞れなくろ過物に化学剤を添加することができ
る。フイルターカテーテル1は挿入後も患者に再
三負担をかける必要なく可成り長時間そのままと
することができる。装置全体を可搬性を有するよ
うに構成したり、ある種の医薬(例えばインシユ
リン)を連続的に添加(施薬)するのを制御する
目的で測定結果を評価(使用)するマイクロプロ
セツサーに分析器を接続したりすることもでき
る。
本発明によれば、体液中のイオン及び低分子量
成分の限外ろ過及び隔膜分布を生体内でさえも可
能にする試料摂取用フイルターカテーテルを用い
ることによつて従来技術の欠点を解消することが
できる。低分子量成分のみが生体から取出され且
つ異物は体液に決して達することがないので患者
はほとんど緊張することがなく(負担を受けるこ
とがなく)、多数の測定センサを用いることがで
き、またこれらの測定センサを被測定物によつて
汚すことがなく、調査すべき液体の汚染は上記測
定処理の結果生ずることがない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 表面の少なくとも一部に半透過性膜が設けら
    れ体液から測定されるべき物質を得るカテーテル
    において、前記半透過性膜は体液中にあるイオン
    及び低分子量成分のろ過、限外ろ過または透析を
    許すが微粒子部分の透過を許さない膜であること
    を特徴とするカテーテル。
