As construction progresses, the gate-type work machine moves along the rails laid next to the road, etc. At this time, the horizontal level of the rails is not constant, and there are differences in height. If there is, an uneven load will be placed on the legs brought to the low part of the rail. Conventionally, such abnormalities have been detected using a level meter, but this method does not allow accurate determination of how much unbalanced load is being applied to which leg. For this reason, even if it is possible to detect that an unbalanced load is being applied to the legs, it is difficult to detect how much more unbalanced load it can withstand, which poses a problem in terms of ensuring safety.

Therefore, the present invention provides a gate-type working machine that solves these problems. The main feature of this invention is that a bearing supporting the appropriate axle is attached to the traveling device disposed at the lower end of each leg. A vertical load detection device that fits onto the axle is removably attached to the bearing with a bolt and nut, and the diameter of the axle through hole of the bearing is slightly larger than the diameter of the axle through hole of the vertical load detection device. In addition, by adjusting the relative position of the vertical load detecting device with respect to the bearing using the bolt and nut, the axle can be supported by the vertical load detecting device instead of the bearing. With this configuration, the vertical load detection device can accurately detect the unbalanced load applied to the leg via the axle, and accurately detect how much more unbalanced load the leg can withstand. It is something that can be done. Therefore, safety can be sufficiently ensured.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. Reference numeral 1 denotes a work machine main body, 2 leg parts hanging from the four corners of the lower surface of the work machine main body 1, 3 a traveling device disposed below each leg part 2 via a universal joint 4, and a frame 5, an axle 8 rotatably supported by bearings 6 and 7 of the frame 5, and a wheel 10 fitted onto the axle 8 and placed on a rail 9. Reference numeral 11 denotes a vertical load detection device, which includes a plate-shaped cell body 12 in which an upper portion 12A is approximately circular, a central portion 12B is constricted, and a lower portion 12C extends horizontally, and the front and back surfaces of the central portion 12B of the cell body 12. This is a so-called load cell. A suitable axle 8 is fitted into a through hole 14 formed in the upper part 12A of the cell body 12. Also, through holes 15 formed at both ends of the lower part 12c of the cell body 12
The tip of a bolt 16 passing through the lower edge of the frame 5 passes through. 17 is a nut that is fitted onto the tip of the bolt 16, and 18 is a key plate that is fitted into notches formed at both ends of the axle 8 and whose ends are bolted to the other bearing 7 and the upper part 12A of the cell body 12. , 19 are a pair of supporting metal fittings fixed to the side surface of one of the bearings 6, and are attached to the cell body 1.

The diameter of the axle is made larger than the diameter of the axle 8, thereby forming a slight gap α between the axle 8 and the axle through hole 6a. Also, strain gauge 13
The front and back sides of the sensor cancel each other's bending effects so that only vertical loads can be detected, and the sensor is attached in a position that is not affected by temperature changes. Furthermore, the strain gauge 13 forms a bridge circuit, and the output from that circuit is connected to an amplifier and an A/

The operation of the above configuration will be explained. The state shown in FIG. 3 is a state detected by the vertical load detection device 11, in which the vertical load of the leg portion 2 is directly applied to the axle shaft 8 via the other bearing 7, and the vertical load on one of the bearings 6,
It is connected to the axle 8 via the bolt 16, nut 17 and the vertical load detection device 11, so that the vertical load of the leg 2 is transferred to the vertical load detection device 11.
is detected and the load is displayed on the display. Therefore, the operator on the work machine main body 1 only has to run the traveling device 3 while watching the load displayed on the display to advance the work machine. and rail 9
When an uneven load is applied to the leg part 2 due to a difference in height, it is possible to immediately know the value of the uneven load, and also to know how close the uneven load value is to the maximum allowable load value. to accurately judge whether or not it is okay to run with the unbalanced load applied, or whether or not to immediately stop running and extend/contract the appropriate leg portions 2 to eliminate the unbalanced load. It is something that can be done.

Next, if detection by the vertical load detection device 11 is not required, loosen the nut 17 and tighten one of the bearings 6.
It is sufficient that the vertical load detection device 11 is not subjected to any load by directly contacting the axle 8.
Furthermore, when you want to remove the vertical load detection device 11 for maintenance etc. of the vertical load detection device 11, remove the nut 17 and bolt 16,
What is necessary is to remove the key plate 18 bolted to the cell body 12, grasp the cell body 12, and remove it from the axle 8. After maintenance, when installing the vertical load detection device 11, the procedure may be reversed.

As described above, according to the present invention, the vertical load detection device can accurately detect the unbalanced load applied to the leg via the axle, and determine how much more unbalanced load the leg can withstand. can be detected accurately. Therefore, safety can be sufficiently ensured. Moreover, according to this traveling device, even if the vertical load detection device is removed, the axle at this location is supported by the bearing, so the vertical load detection is necessary for maintenance of the vertical load detection device, etc. Even when the device needs to be removed, it can be done simply by loosening the bolts and nuts and separating the vertical load detection device from the bearing, and there is no need to interrupt the work using the portal type work machine.
