[Detailed explanation of the invention] (a) Industrial application field This invention aims to prevent the decay of remains and the growth of mold over a long period of time by providing ventilation and drainage facilities for the cemetery charnel chamber and drying the charnel chamber. Concerning the purpose of the cemetery columbarium.

(b) Conventional technology Conventionally, ossuary chambers made of concrete are generally used for interment of ashes, but these ossuary chambers are formed in the shape of a square, and the bottom is also made of concrete like the outer wall. It is buried deep inside and the lid is placed horizontally at the top of the charnel chamber. In such a square-shaped columbarium, water in the soil seeps through the outer wall and accumulates inside, and rainwater enters the columbarium through the joint between the lid and the main body, flowing into the columbarium and collecting at the bottom. Rainwater that collects at the bottom and water that seeps through the walls is currently dependent on natural drainage, as there is no drainage facility in the columbarium. In such a columbarium, it is natural for the remains to grow mold or to rot, and it is impossible to expect the remains to be preserved for a long period of time. The applicant experiences this fact in his profession.

(c) Problems that the invention aims to solve In graveyard columbariums with this type of structure, drainage or ventilation equipment is not installed, so the remains may become wet from water that collects at the bottom or may be affected by humidity. The current situation is extremely unsatisfactory for the bereaved families of the believers whose remains were destroyed and wish to preserve them for a long time.

In the figure, 1 is a square-shaped ossuary chamber made of concrete with an open bottom. 2 shows the inner wall of this square shape. At the intersection of this inner wall and the silica sand layer on the bottom surface, a drainage pipe 3a is provided to pass through the wall in an outwardly inclined manner, and a drainage port 3b at the other end is provided to protrude outside the wall.

This drain port 3b is inclined outwardly and prevents water from entering from outside. Yotsutoko drain port 3
b drains the water accumulated in the ossuary chamber from the intake of the drain pipe 3a, so that the ossuary chamber is always dry. This drain port 3b is covered with a mesh lid 5. This mesh lid 5 is attached to a drain port 3b that protrudes into the soil layer A surrounding the outer periphery of the charnel chamber. The mesh lid 5 installed in this manner prevents insects present in the soil layer from entering. Next, 4a shows an exhaust pipe. This exhaust pipe 4a is provided above the charnel chamber, and the other end penetrates the wall and projects outward from the cemetery outer partition wall 12 through the soil layer A.

The exhaust pipe 4a thus formed dries the humid air inside the ossuary chamber by taking in the dry air from outside through the exhaust port 4a2 . On the other hand, since the columbarium is buried in the soil layer, the moisture in the soil layer may seep into the walls of the chamber, causing water droplets to form on the walls. The coating process prevents moisture from seeping into the wall surface. However, the water droplets that partially seep through and form on the wall surface are evaporated by the dry air flowing in through the exhaust port 4b, and are discharged to the outside through the exhaust port 4b, so that the charnel chamber is well dried.

The exhaust pipe 4a, like the drain pipe 3a described above, is installed with the other end facing outward so as to prevent rainwater from entering the interior during a rainstorm. Such an exhaust pipe 4a has an exhaust port 4b protruding from the outer wall of the cemetery through the soil layer A surrounding the charnel chamber, and a net cover 5 for insect protection is attached to the mouth of the pipe 4b, as described above. This exhaust pipe 4a is installed so that the exhaust port 4b at the other end is in contact with the outside air, so that in regions where the outside air is dry, dry air always flows into the charnel chamber, so that the inside of the chamber is well dried.

Next, reference numeral 6 shows the coated surface where the epoxy lining material is coated on the wall surface. By coating the wall surface with epoxy lining material in this manner, moisture inside the columbarium is prevented from seeping through the walls of the columbarium from outside the columbarium and seeping into the interior, thereby ensuring dryness within the columbarium. Next, as a way to measure indoor drainage, the bottom structure is made up of three layers. Therefore, a silica sand layer 9 is placed on top, a gravel layer 8 is placed in the center, and a large number of chestnut stones are laid down at the bottom to form a chestnut stone layer 7. In this chestnut stone layer 7, the stone grains are larger than those in the above two layers. This is the layer with the best drainage.

A silica sand layer 9 is provided at the upper end of this bottom.
As described above, the bottom of the charnel chamber main body is formed of three layers, namely, a silica sand layer 9 is laid on the upper end of the bottom, a gravel layer 8 is then laid with gravel, and a chestnut stone layer 7 is laid on the bottom. As described above, the three-layer structure provides good drainage at the bottom.

(E) Function Having formed the ashes in this way, when the ashes are interred, the lid of the columbarium is opened and the ashes are placed on the bottom. Then, a desiccant is placed on a shelf installed in the columbarium to absorb the humid air in the room and work to dry the air.
In addition to discharging humid air through the exhaust pipe 4a and absorbing dry air from the outside through the exhaust port 4b to circulate the air in the columbarium, there is also a drainage pipe 3a.
The water accumulated in the ossuary chamber is discharged to the outside to dry the ossuary chamber, and the desiccant is replaced at appropriate intervals, so that the ossuary chamber always maintains a predetermined level of dryness.

(F) Effect With this structure, the graveyard columbarium has extremely good drainage of rainwater or water that seeps through the walls, etc., with three layers at the bottom: a gravel layer, a chestnut stone layer, and a silica sand layer. In addition, the dryness of the columbarium is good, such as by providing a storage area for desiccant, which prevents the ashes from decaying and mold, making it possible to preserve the ashes for a long period of time. It has effects such as being very useful for festival prayers.
