In the past, as is well known, various cleaning devices have been devised and developed, and among them, cleaning devices that use jets of high-pressure water to clean the base molded products of various electromechanical parts after molding have been improved in various ways due to high needs. This has led to the adoption of superior products.

On the other hand, the impact of jet water is certainly excellent in terms of removing facets and peeling off deposits, etc. It is effective for block-shaped molded products and molded products with deep cavities. No jet water cleaning apparatus has yet been devised or developed which has an effective function for cleaning printed circuit boards for electronic equipment, which are in high demand these days and require a high level of cleaning conditions.

That is, as shown in FIG. 2, the printed circuit board is made of a thin plate 1 made of synthetic resin of a predetermined size, and then punched and formed into through-holes 2, 2', 2'', etc. of a predetermined size and different shapes according to the design. 2N is punched out automatically and manufactured continuously in large quantities.

By the way, in the printed circuit board 3, as a matter of course, burrs are inevitably left behind during the punching and forming process, smear is attached, and other dust is often attached, and the printed circuit board 3 is left as it is. However, when it comes to processes such as installing resistors, wiring defects, decreased accuracy, or failures can occur.

Up to now, cleaning has been carried out using detergents or other means to deal with this problem, but there is no mechanical advantage in removing burrs, and it is preferable to clean the surface of the substrate 1 by applying a complex frictional force. The drawback was that it caused unnecessary damage and caused errors in the electronic circuit of the final product.

The structure of the present invention in accordance with the above object is that each printed circuit board loaded on a roller conveyor from the entrance side of the cleaning device is moistened with a shower to make it easier to peel off the deposits, and in the cleaning area. A high-pressure cleaning water jet is sprayed onto the front and back surfaces of the printed circuit board while rotating, without interfering with each other, to evenly wipe off the deposits on all the front and back surfaces, and also cut off and remove burrs and smears from each through hole. Therefore, in the cleaning area, the printed circuit board is in point contact with the ring of the pressure-side roller for the high-pressure cleaning water jet, and the through-hole is floated on the roller, and the high-pressure jet is discharged from the through-hole. The gist of the system is to make it easy to flow through, perform cleaning effectively, and finally transport the product out of the finishing shower.

Then, when moving to the next process and reaching the upper side of the lower high-pressure jet device 31', the vertical relationship is reversed as described above, and the surface of the printed circuit board 3 is transferred to the back-up roller conveyor by the exactly same pressure applied operation. 7', all the back surface areas are cleaned by the cleaning water nozzle 35', adhering oil, fat, and dust are removed, and the water passes through the through holes 2, 2', 2''...
The upper washing water jet 36 completely removes any uncut burrs and smears, and finally the material passes through the bulk head 24 and is finished washed by the shower 26.
The completely cleaned printed circuit board 3 is carried out from the outlet 18.

As described above, in the printed circuit board cleaning apparatus according to the present invention, the cleaning water nozzle provided at the tip of the revolving arm relative to the roller conveyor is arranged so that the cleaning water jet can cover the roller conveyor. Furthermore, in the cleaning water jet area, the roller conveyor is doubled so as to follow the jet flow, and the roller conveyor on the side that holds the printed circuit board to be clamped is a pressurized back-up roller conveyor and a ring is installed around it. Unlike belt conveyors, etc., the printed circuit board is reliably exposed to multiple jets of rotating cleaning water jets, and its front and back surfaces are subjected to the impact and scratching effects of the jet, removing dust and oil, and cleaning the through holes. Residual burrs and smears can also be removed by cutting and peeling, so one pass is reliable.
It is possible to completely clean the entire surface and through-holes of a thin printed circuit board, and has the remarkable effect of giving designed characteristics to subsequent circuit printing and electronic device mounting.
