Aboard the ship, sand was pumped through a hose attached to the self-propelled machine and sprayed onto the hull's outer skin through a nozzle to remove rust from the hull.

As a measure to prevent this powdery waste from scattering, fences have been set up around the docks, but there was a problem in that sandblasting operations could not be mixed with other work inside the docks.

The present invention provides a low-pollution sandblasting device in which the open port is brought into pressure contact with the sandblasting surface to minimize leakage from the touch surface, and the powdery waste inside the enclosure is collected by a dust collector via a duct. .

A self-propelled machine 5 is guided by rails 6 and 7 laid on the dock side and the dock side wall surface, and is moved along the dock side wall 3 by a motor drive device (not shown). The self-propelled machine 5 has vertical legs 9 that extend downward from the driver's cab 8 and have wheels 9' guided by the rails 7 at the bottom, and the driver's cab 8.
It is equipped with an arm 10 consisting of a four-section rotating parallel link mechanism that can vertically swing and expand and contract within the dock, and a hydraulic cylinder 11 that operates the arm 10. A working stage 14 is provided at the tip of the arm 10. The stage 14 is always kept horizontal by a four-bar rotation parallel link mechanism and can move up and down along the side wall of the hull of the docked ship. The structure of the above-mentioned self-propelled machine is almost the same as the conventional one. Note that 12 in the figure is a wheel that rolls on a rail 6 laid on the side of the dock.

A bellows 15 is fixed along the edge of the opening of the bellows 15 with a bolt 16 as shown in FIG. It is fixed and provided in an annular shape. That is, the groove-shaped frame 17 is attached with its groove opening facing the surface to be sandblasted. It is preferable that the contact surface of the frame 17 with the hull side wall surface 25 be coated with rubber.

A dust collector 24 is separately loaded on the trolley 22. The dust collector 24 is for sucking in particulate waste that leaks out from the gap between the frame 17 and the outer plate, which are pressed against the hull side wall surface 25 during sandblasting work. The other end of the flexible duct 26 that opens into the groove of the frame 17 is the dust collector. It is connected to 24 suction ports. 27 is a sand pressure feeding hose, and 28 is a sandblasting nozzle. It should be noted that during the sandblasting work, the cage 13 is always slightly pushed toward the side wall surface of the hull by the operator, but the insufficient pushing pressure is still applied by the spring 18. However, if pushed too hard, the frame at the tip will strongly slide on the hull outer plate, damaging the side wall surface, so care is taken to mount the sensor 29 facing the hull side wall surface and maintain an appropriate position. Sensors 29 are arranged on four sides of the frame 17, and signals from the sensors are sent to four signal lamps provided on an instrument panel located at the operator's driver's seat.

る。 In the above structure, when the cage 13 is pressed against the hull side wall surface 25 by hydraulic pressure by the operator, the frame 17 is tightly pressed against the hull side wall surface 25 through the bellows 15 by the tension of the spring 18 without loosening. be done. cage 13
A blastman (not shown) grips the nozzle 28 of the sand pumping hose 27 and blasts the side wall surface of the ship with sand jetted from the nozzle. Waste sand, rust, paint scum, etc. after being pounded are collected in a dust collector 21 through a flexible duct 20 that opens at the bottom of the cage. Particle waste such as waste sand and rust that tries to leak out from the contact surface against the pressure of the spring 18 of the frame 17 that comes into contact with the hull side wall surface 25 is formed by the groove of the frame 17 and the hull outer plate. Since the air duct becomes negative pressure due to the suction of the dust collector 24, the particulate waste flows through the flexible duct 26 to the dust collector 2.
4, and there is almost no leakage from the touch surface. A cart 22 carrying dust collectors 21 and 24 is pulled by a towing vehicle 23 and follows along the bottom of the culvert as the self-propelled machine moves.

Therefore, good contact with the sandblasting surface is maintained, and the rust and paint scum removed by sand blasting are not scattered in all directions along with waste sand as in the conventional method, and other work can be done at the same time.

Since it can be carried out at the same time, it is efficient because the conventional means of scraping up the powder waste can be omitted.

The leaking particulate waste is captured by the air duct, which has a negative pressure due to suction by the dust collector, and can be effectively prevented from scattering to the outside. Furthermore, sensors are attached to the four sides of the frame, and the signal sent by touching the surface to be sandblasted is sent to the cab instrument panel of the self-propelled machine, making it easy to adjust the pressing force of the frame against the surface to be sandblasted. , without damaging the surface to be sandblasted, and allowing the cage to slide smoothly.
