【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は棟用丸瓦の構造に関するものであつ
て、更に詳しくは棟用丸瓦1の一端面に棟用丸瓦
1の他端部が嵌め込まれる嵌合用段部2を形成
し、嵌合用段部2の横面に水切り溝3を設け、棟
用丸瓦1の他端部の端面および嵌合用段部2の縦
面を上に行く程内側に向けて傾斜する傾斜面4お
よびテーパ面5に夫々形成して成る棟用丸瓦の構
造に係るものである。

用丸瓦1′の成型時の材料投入のばらつきによ
り、棟用丸瓦1′同志の嵌合用段部2′への棟用丸
瓦1′の嵌め込みがピツタリと一致せず、したが
つて第4図のように棟用丸瓦1′の葺き上がりの
ラインが一直線とはならず外観が悪くなるという
問題があつた。

合用段部2の横面には周方向全長に亘つて水切り
溝3が凹設されてある。棟用丸瓦1の他端部の端
面は上方に行く程内側に傾斜した傾斜面4に形成
されてある。第6図および第7図は棟用丸瓦1同
志をつないだ状態を示してあり、一方の棟用丸瓦
1の一端部の嵌合用段部2に他方の棟用丸瓦1の
他端部を嵌め込んであり、相対向するテーパ面5
と傾斜面4とで目地部7が形成されてある。8は
固定用の釘孔である。

本考案は叙述のように棟用丸瓦の一端部に棟用

行く程内側に向けて傾斜する傾斜面およびテーパ
面に夫々形成したので、葺き並べ時に棟用丸瓦の
他端部を嵌合用段部に嵌め込むと、棟用丸瓦の相
対向する傾斜面及びテーパ面で嵌め込み部分に目
地が形成され、つまり葺き並べされた棟用丸瓦の
嵌め合わされた端面及び縦面の上部間に隙間が生
じて棟ラインが断続的になり、このため製造時に
おける寸法のばらつきが一見するだけでは分から
ないようになり、葺き上がり時の段差を緩和する
ことができ、従つて葺き上がりの仕上が奇麗とな
る効果がある。しかも水切り溝の存在により雨水
の浸入も防げるという利点がある。また傾斜面お
よびテーパ面をつけることにより、プレス成型時
の作業性、製品の仕上がりが良好になるという利
点がある。
