Asbestos-cement boards are used for the roof tiles, and even with a thickness of about 5 mm, they can crack and have sufficient wind resistance. However, with such thickness, the appearance of the roof is poor due to the thinness of the tiles. However, if the thickness of the tile is increased to increase the weight of the exterior, the mechanical strength mentioned above will be increased more than necessary, and from the viewpoint of mechanical strength, the tile will be made thicker than necessary. This is particularly disadvantageous in terms of material cost.

For this reason, the present applicant has already proposed that the tile end face 2' of the exposed part 1' of the plate-shaped tile be sloped, as shown in FIG. Since the edges of the exposed portions are sloped, the roofing appearance can be made to look like the roofing has been covered with thick tiles, and the above-mentioned disadvantage in terms of material cost can be eliminated.

However, with the plate-shaped tiles shown in Figure 1, if the tiles are laid upside down, the above-mentioned effect of solidity cannot be obtained, and therefore, under the condition of maintaining this sense of weight, There are some problems with this type of roofing.

The roof tile according to the present invention has a structure that enables two types of roofing while maintaining the above-mentioned solid feeling by using the tiles in either the upper or lower direction. It is divided into an upper and lower part and an intermediate part between the upper and lower parts, and the upper and lower parts have different external shapes. and the upper boundary,
Furthermore, a nail hole with a bottom is provided at the boundary between the middle part and the lower part.

以下、図面により本考案を説明する。 The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings.

In Fig. 2A, 1 is a plate-shaped tile made of asbestos cement, and the vertical width is the working width L 0 (the vertical width of the exposed part of the tile when the tile is roofed), and the upper part 1a, the lower part 1b, and the middle part. It is divided into 1c and upper part 1a.
Also, the end surface 2 of the outer shell of the lower part 1b is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2C (sectional view taken along line bb in FIG. 2A) and FIG. 2C (cross sectional view taken along line cc in FIG. The angle of this slope 2 is 30

Figures 3A and 3B show the appearance of two types of roofing in which the above-mentioned tiles are installed upside down.
In the roofing shown in Figure A (or Figure 3 B), the bottomed nail holes 32,... (or 31,...) are used for positioning the upper row of tiles relative to the lower row of tiles, and the bottomed nail holes 31,... At ... (or 32, ...), tiles are nailed to the roofing board.

The roofing appearance shown in FIG. 3A is small and suitable for a small house, and the roofing appearance shown in FIG. 3B is large and suitable for a large-scale residence. In either roofing, the edge 2 of the exposed part of the plate-shaped tiles, the end face of the notch 21, etc. are sloped, so that the roof tiles have an excellent sense of solidity despite the use of plate-shaped tiles.

Further, V grooves 4 are formed between the tiles in the same row because the end surfaces on both sides of the tiles are sloped, but the end surfaces 10c, 10c at the middle part of the same side are vertical surfaces, and the V grooves 4 are formed between tiles in the same row. Since the groove 4 is interrupted just below the upper row of roof tiles for the butt of the vertical surfaces 10c, 10c, rainwater can be effectively prevented from entering onto the roofing board through the V-groove 4.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the lower side 10b of the lower part 1b has different levels at each cut 21, . . . . In FIG. 4, parts having the same reference numerals as in FIG. 2A indicate the same components as in FIG. 2A. FIGS. 5A and 5B respectively show two types of roofing states in which tiles according to the above-mentioned other embodiments are installed upside down.

As mentioned above, with the roof tile according to the present invention, two types of roofing appearances are possible by turning the tile upside down, and in both roofing appearances, the edge of the exposed surface is sloped. The thickness of the end face of the tile is emphasized, giving it a solid appearance despite the fact that it is a plate-shaped tile.

In addition, when roofing is done, the V-shaped grooves that occur where the tiles meet in the horizontal direction are interrupted just below the upper row of tiles due to the alignment of the vertical planes of the intermediate parts of the tiles. At the same time, a nail hole with a bottom is provided at the boundary between the upper and lower parts and the middle part, which has the working width of the tile, so that it can be used either vertically or vertically. but,
There are two rows of upper and lower rows of nail holes, and the nails are aligned using the inner and lower row of nail holes as landmarks, and then the nails are driven into the upper row of nail holes, so the nail driving point is always covered by the upper row of tiles, making it resistant to rainwater and flooding. Excellent in sex.

In addition, the bottomed nail holes can be used as positioning marks for the lower edges of the upper row of tiles, along with the boundary between the slopes and vertical surfaces on both sides of the tiles, making it easy to arrange tiles accurately. It has various practical effects, such as making it easier to lay out the roof when the lower edges of the tiles are not in a straight line.
