BACKGROUND ART Light-shielding films have been known in the past, which are semi-transparent or colored transparent films that are pasted on the inside of automobile window glass to prevent glare from sunlight and protect the privacy of the interior of the vehicle.

This light-shielding film has a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the adhesive surface, and a release film (transparent) is adhered thereon. Therefore, in order to attach a light-shielding film to a window glass, the release film is peeled off and the film is attached to the glass surface using a pressure-sensitive adhesive. However, since the light-shielding film has a large area equal to or larger than the area of window glass, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied over the entire surface of the film, air bubbles are inevitably drawn in when pasting the film. . These air bubbles cannot escape from between the film and the glass surface, which are attached to the glass surface using a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and end up scattered on the film surface, resulting in an extremely unsightly appearance. Of course, even if the film surface is squeezed with a spatula or the like, the bubbles will remain because the applied force of the spatula does not peel off the film enough to drive out the bubbles. Therefore, a method was devised to poke the air bubbles with a needle or the like to release the air.
The film split from the poked part and spread out, further deteriorating its appearance.

Therefore, in order to eliminate these defects, water is sprayed on the window glass surface in advance using a sprayer, etc. to make the pressure-sensitive adhesive not blend well with the window glass, weakening the adhesive strength and blocking light. A film was attached and pressed down with a rubber spatula to release air bubbles along with water droplets. However, this work was extremely difficult and the air bubbles could not be completely removed.

Furthermore, it is even more difficult to apply a light-shielding film to a cubically curved surface such as the rear window of a car, and the process of removing air bubbles results in wrinkles, and in reality, the film It was almost difficult to attach.

The present invention was developed to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional method, and it is possible to reliably remove air bubbles and also to adhere to three-dimensional curved surfaces without causing wrinkles. It is an object of the present invention to provide a light-shielding film for automobiles configured as described above.

The light-shielding film 1 of the present invention is made by applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive 3 to one side of a narrow band-shaped light-shielding film 2 having a predetermined width and length. They are formed by adhering them at predetermined intervals, for example, about 1 to 2 mm, on a continuous sheet of transparent release film 4 that has been subjected to a release treatment. In place of the transparent release film 4, a release paper that has been subjected to release treatment may be used.

The width of the connecting tape 6 is, for example, about 1 cm, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive 7 having a weaker adhesive force than the pressure-sensitive adhesive 3 on the band-shaped light-shielding film 2 side is applied to the entire surface of the tape. The connecting tape 6 is pasted across the adjacent strip-shaped light-shielding films 2, with the gap 5 located at the center in the width direction.

In addition, in order to attach this connecting tape 6, the side surface of the band-shaped light-shielding film 2 opposite to the side to which the pressure-sensitive adhesive 3 is applied is subjected to a peeling treatment.

First, water is sprayed onto the glass surface 8 to be adhered using a sprayer or the like. Then, the release film 4 is peeled off and the band-shaped light-shielding film 2 is attached. At this time, since the adjacent band-shaped light-shielding films 2 are adhered to each other by the connecting tape 6 and are continuous, separation does not occur and they can be treated as one continuous light-shielding film. The state shown in FIG. 3 is the state in which the film is pasted in this manner.

Immediately after pasting the light-shielding film 2 in this manner, the connecting tape 6 is peeled off, and is pressed and squeezed from the surface of the light-shielding film 2 using a rubber spatula or the like to push out air along with water droplets in the direction of the gap 5. At this time, use the band-shaped light-shielding film 2 to expel the air.
This can be done extremely easily since the width is narrow.

In this way, the air can be easily expelled completely and in a short time. When the pasting of the light-shielding film 2 is completely completed, the glass surface 8
If is a flat surface, the gap 5 will remain as it is, but
The distance between them is extremely narrow, about 1 to 2 mm, so they are not noticeable. Conversely, the gaps 5 remain as a striped pattern, creating a decorative effect and providing an advantage never seen before.

On the other hand, when the glass surface 8 is not a flat surface but a cubic curved surface, the adjacent band-shaped light-shielding films 2, 2 can be moved closer to each other within the gap 5 according to the curvature of the curved surface, and the surface is not extremely curved. As long as the gap 5 allows the shift of the band-shaped light-shielding film 2 to be absorbed, it is possible to adhere the strip-shaped light-shielding film 2 without wrinkles. Of course, the attachment method is exactly the same as the method described above. FIG. 4 shows a state in which the gap 5 is narrowed in this manner.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the light-shielding film strips are continuous at predetermined intervals via the connecting tape, so that the light-shielding film can be attached to the glass surface on which water has been sprayed. It is extremely easy to vent air along with the water droplets after washing, as it can be done in the gaps between the band-shaped light-shielding films.

Further, even when the glass surface is a curved surface, the gap can absorb the deviation of the adjacent band-shaped light-shielding film, and it is possible to adhere the film without wrinkles.

Furthermore, even if gaps remain between the band-shaped light-shielding films, the width thereof is so small that it does not impair the appearance, and on the contrary, a decorative effect as a striped pattern can be obtained.
