Conventional configurations and their problems Currently, home automation and informatization are progressing even in the home, and home equipment and video information equipment that communicate information with home computers have appeared, so not only power supplies but also There is an increasing need to install a plug-in common bus type general-purpose information line, but in the past, homes only had power outlets for general-purpose power (power) connections, and signal transmission cables were required. Each device was connected using its own unique method using dedicated cables. In this configuration, each signal transmission cable must be installed individually, which has the problem of being uneconomical in terms of cable utilization rate and cost for household devices with a relatively small amount of information. . Furthermore, when a signal transmission cable is directly connected to a common bus for signal transmission as a branch line, there is a problem in signal transmission for high-speed data transfer due to reflection from the impedance mismatched end of the branch line.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve this object, the present invention includes a converter for converting AC power into DC power inside an outlet, a transceiver connected to a common bus for signal transmission, a common bus for signal transmission, and an information outlet. It has a photocoupler to electrically insulate it, and has an external power outlet. With this configuration, even if arbitrary length and number of branch lines are connected in a common bus for signal transmission, the quality of the common bus line can be protected by providing a transceiver immediately near the branch end. By integrating the power outlet and the information outlet, the power source for circuits such as transceivers can be provided inside the outlet.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3.
This will be explained using figures. FIG. 1 shows an example of the overall configuration of a composite outlet 1, a power line 3, a common signal transmission bus 4, and a terminal device 2. As shown in FIG. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing an example of a composite outlet, in which a power outlet 6 and an information outlet 5 are provided on the front panel, and the information outlet 5 uses a coaxial cable as the signal transmission cable and a BNC connector as the connection part. It was made into a receptacle. For electrical outlets installed in homes, if there is a protrusion on the surface of the outlet, it can be dangerous if the outlet gets stuck when not in use, so a recess is created in the outlet and a receptacle is installed inside the outlet.
FIG. 3 is a circuit block diagram inside the composite outlet 1. The common bus 4 for signal transmission is branched, and a transceiver 9 is provided at the end of the branch path to extremely shorten the length of the branch path, which is a reflective end that becomes a problem when transmitting signals on the common bus for signal transmission. Power to the transceiver 9 and photocoupler 10 is supplied by converting the AC voltage applied to the power outlet 6 by a DC power supply 7. The transceiver 9 is switched between reception and transmission by a control signal input from the information outlet 5. Photocoupler 10 is
It is provided to electrically isolate the signal transmission common bus side and the information outlet side, and the light emitting side of the photocoupler 10, the power source on the light receiving side, and the ground are also completely separated by the DC-DC converter. With the above configuration, even at home, information transmission between devices is possible by simply plugging a signal transmission cable into the information outlet 5 and by defining a certain protocol.
