Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve visibility of a braking condition to following cars so as to prevent a rear-end collision and the like by providing a deceleration detector detecting deceleration of a car as change in level of conductive liquid whereby controlling the degree in flashing of a brake light in proportion to deceleration of the car. CONSTITUTION:Both a deceleration detector (level sensor) 7, to which conductive liquid 12 is enclosed, and a control section 4 which is composed of a frequency converter converting the output from said deceleration detector 7 into frequencies, an amplifier and the like are provided between a brake lamp switch 2 and a brake light 6. In the deceleration detector 7, when the brake is applied, the level of enclosed liquid 12 is constituted to be inclined depending on deceleration at that time whereby terminals, a, b, c... become conductive step by step in accordance with the state of inclination, thereby generating an output signal varying step by step. Owing to this constitution, the degree in flashing of the brake light 6 or the quantity of light can be changed in proportion to the quantity of detected deceleration.

よび増幅器9等からなる。また減速した後停止中に一定
周期で点滅させるためには、第3図に示したように減速
度出力を一旦ラッチ回路11で記憶し周波数変換器8に
信号を送ればよい。
