各素材単板2,2′の積層切断面を天然木の木目
模様に模して材面に再現した複合単板5を得、こ
の複合単板5を同図Fに示すように合板などから
なる台板6上に110g/m2の割合で塗布した接着
剤を介してブツクマツチ貼りし、圧締処理したあ
とさらに前記複合単板5の表面を生地研磨しその
表面に同図Gに示すように塗装処理7を施し、同
図Hに示すような人工化粧単板8を得るものであ

2′の積層切断面で表わされる木目模様に沿つて
凹凸模様が形成されるばかりでなく、前記接着剤
層5aが傾斜して潜入する側ではその接着剤層5
aが表層よりしだいに底面に遠ざかるため塗料の
吸込作用がそれに伴なつて弱まり、塗装膜7aの
膜厚が表層の接着剤5aより離れるにつれて漸増
し、逆に前記接着剤層5aがしだいに遠ざかる側
では下層に接着剤層5aが存在しないため表層で
は塗装膜7aの漸増現象が生じず、年輪線8aに
沿つてゆるやかな凹溝8bのみられる天然のケヤ
キ材などの材質感を忠実に再現することができ
