Abstract

PURPOSE:To enlarge characters at an optional magnification with a simple constitution by providing an interpolation processing table where interpolation processings to all of 512 kinds of turn-on/off pattern information to which a local pattern detecting means can output are recorded. CONSTITUTION:A local pattern detecting means 12 detects the ON/OFF pattern information of an optional dot and adjacent 8 dots on a character pattern storage means 11, and an interpolation processing selecting means 13 is provided with an interpolation processing table 22 where instructions of interpolation processing methods corresponding to 512 kinds of possible ON/OFF pattern information are stored. より獲得し、該補間処理方法を行なうべきことを指示す
る制御信号をドツト補間手段15に供給する。拡大倍率
判別手段14は文字パターン記憶手段11上の該ドツト
の位置と使用者の指示する拡大率を入力として、該ドツ
トに対する拡大倍率を算出し、拡大倍率をドツト補間手
段15に供給する。ドツト補間手段15は前記制御信号
と該拡大倍率とに応答して中心ドツトの拡大及び補間処
理を実行し、拡大した文字パターンを出力する。
