速に高められる。これは、酢酸ビニル樹脂のラテックス
粒子がソノラム・モンモリロナイトに作用し、酢酸ビニ
ルのカルボキシル基が第1図(c)の波線で示すように
シリカ層やアルミナ層に吸着されるようになってシリカ
層やアルミナ層の層間隔がさらに拡大され、ソノラム・
モンモリロナイトがさらに急速に膨潤されるためである
