CONSTITUTION:Contact bed plates 3 fitted with flat net pipes 1 are provided to contact bed frames 2 which are allowed to coincide with a treatment tank such as a contact aeration tank and a settling tank with a definite interval. The fine flat net pipes 1 made of strands 4 are inexpensive mass-produced articles by extrusion molding, especially, the net pipes produced by polyethylene resin or the like are not eroded by a chemical agent, are good in sticking of microorganism, and excellent in peeling and separability of excess sludge. The contact bed is easily formed by manufacturing the contact bed frame 2 and only stretching the flat net pipe 1 thereto and it can be allowed to correspond to the treatment tank having various shapes.
