Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a small lightweight contact body easy to handle, not deteriorated by an org. acid, made possible in semipermanent specification and reduced in water passing resistance and to increase the contact area thereof per unit volume by allowing a plurality of flat net tubes made of a resin radially by utilizing a part of each of the net tubes as a base part. CONSTITUTION:A contact body is composed of flat net tubes 1 having width and length of several cm - several ten cm and end parts of which are brought together the base part 4 to allow the net tubes to radially protrude on all sides. Since the contact body is made of a polyethylene resin or a polypropylene resin, the contact body is easy to slide, not deteriorated by chemicals, generates no elusion of harmful chemicals, well holds bacteria, requires no labor in the execution to a treatment tank and is composed of a net and, therefore, suspended matter is adsorbed and trapped and both of physical filtering and biological filtering are performed in parallel and a contact area is several times of ground stones and, since strands 2 are fine but knitted to be processed into meshes 3 and formed into a flat pipe shape, the contact body has high strength and can be supplied inexpensively.

Conventional technology Conventional filter media for water treatment uses sand with a low porosity, which causes clogging in a short period of time due to organic contamination, and requires backwashing.
Pebbles and crushed stones are heavy, require a lot of effort to handle, and have low porosity, so only the surface of the stone is effective, and the interior of the stone is useless for water treatment, so water pressure does not cause the expansion of waterways. (Shells, etc. are attacked by organic acids during the water treatment process, causing crushing and crushing. Activated carbon is severely clogged and needs to be regenerated or replaced on a regular basis.)

In honeycomb or laminated plates used as contact materials for water treatment, the direction of water flow is regulated by the plate surface and coincides with the surface direction, the flow is laminar, there is a lot of unnecessary space, and the contact area per unit volume is There are few.

C) Problems to be solved by the invention The contact material for water treatment of the present invention is light and small (easy to handle, not attacked by organic acids, and does not elute organic substances).
It is not attacked by organic acids, does not cause damage, can be used semi-permanently, allows water to flow freely in three-dimensional directions, has little resistance to water flow, expands the waterway due to water pressure, and has a large capacity per unit volume. This was devised in consideration of increasing the contact area.

e) Effects of the invention Since the material of the contact material is polyethylene resin and polypropylene resin, it is slippery, is not attacked by chemicals, and does not elute harmful chemicals (does not sink, does not float too much, and does not float in water. Microorganisms can easily adhere to the treatment tank, and installation into the treatment tank can be completed without much effort by just randomly filling the tank.Since it is a net, it absorbs and traps suspended matter, and can also perform physical and biological filtration. The contact area is several times that of crushed stone, etc., allowing water to flow freely in all directions, and by simply adding it to any shape of aquarium, a floating, uniform filter bed is created, and the bottom of the aquarium is filtered. This is where the sludge settles, and the sludge can be removed without backwashing, and even in the unlikely event of washing, the filter media can be easily washed with air agitation washing or a stirring rod from the bottom of the water tank. Also, activated sludge method When used as a contact bed for water treatment, the contact material (5) of the present invention is filled into an aeration tank and air is diffused from the bottom. can remain in water for a long time, and the aeration effect can be increased several times.

The mesh pipe (1) can be mass-produced by extrusion molding, and the wires (2) are woven into a fine mesh (3), so it is very strong because it has a flat vibrator shape.
It requires less material and can be supplied at low cost.
