Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain stabilization in quality and an improvement in yield by making a side end face of a composite board beautiful, by a method wherein a leak of a core material through a side is prevented by clogging a gap between the composite board and a base and that a sheetlike thing having mold release properties is interposed between the composite board and a molding belt of the side end face. CONSTITUTION:Molding part 3 of side end faces are provided on both sides of a double conveyer 2, a molding belt 4 of the side end face is built in an endless state and the same is run in aligning state with an upper and lower conveyers 2a, 2b. The molding belt 4 of the side end face is formed in about an L-shaped state by providing a protruded piece 4a to a part coming into contact with a lower side base A of a composite board D and a cushion material 4b is stuck to the tip of the protruded piece 4a. The cushion material 4b is fitted to the side end face of the lower side base A of the composite board D and a core material B is prevented from leaking to a surface side of the lower base A by clogging a gap between the lower base A and molding belt 4 of the side end face. Then a sheetlike thing 9 is arranged between the molding belt 4 of the side end face and lower base A and between the back side of the vicinity of the side end face of the lower base A and lower conveyer 2b by an uncoiler 10 arranged at an inlet part of the double conveyer 2, which functions as mold release material to which the core material B does not stick to the molding belt 4 of the side end face.

In general, double conveyor molding machines are often used when manufacturing thin plate-shaped molded bodies continuously, and in particular, when manufacturing laminated composite plates in which synthetic resin foam and various face materials are overlapped, This kind of double conveyor molding machine is most suitable. However, when this type of thin plate-like article is fed under pressure into a double conveyor molding machine consisting of upper and lower mold conveyors together with the facing material, it is difficult to mold both end faces in the longitudinal direction. In addition, there is an apparatus for continuously forming these side end surfaces as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 127961/1982, but the side end surfaces of the composite plate manufactured using this apparatus are as follows:
The finish was aesthetically unfavorable, resulting in lower yields and lower quality.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention makes the side end face forming band L-shaped with a protruding piece, and the protruding part of the composite plate formed by the side end face forming band is attached to the side end face after the double conveyor forming machine. The finished part is cut (finished), and a cushioning material with cushioning properties, flexibility, and elasticity is placed at the tip of the protruding piece of the side edge molding band to reduce the gap with the base material of the composite board. By completely closing the core material to prevent leakage from the side surfaces of the core material, and by interposing a sheet-like material with a releasable property between the composite plate and the side edge forming band, the side edges of the composite plate can be We propose a composite plate manufacturing device that is beautiful, has stable quality, and has a high yield.

To explain further, the double conveyor 1 consists of a steel belt type, cross-shaped caterpillar type upper type conveyor 2a and a lower type conveyor 2b, and includes a lower base material A, a core material B, and a back material C.
A composite board as shown in FIG. 3 is formed, hardened, and bonded together. The main side end surface forming sections are provided on both sides of the double conveyor 1, and are capable of extending the side end surface forming band 4 in an endless manner and traveling synchronously with the upper and lower mold conveyors 2a and 2b. To explain further, the side end face molding band 4 is formed into a substantially L-shape in cross section by providing a protruding piece 4a in the portion that contacts the lower base material A of the composite board, as shown in FIG. A cushioning material 4b having elasticity and cushioning properties is attached to the tip of the protruding piece 4a. That is, the material of the side end face molding band 4 is a material such as a silicone rubber type, a rubber type rubber type, or a cloth belt, and when particularly strong strength is required, various types of fibers (aramid fiber, glass fiber, steel) are used. A material reinforced with fibers, etc.) can be used, and is a belt-like material with tensile strength. The shoe material 4b is made of a material that deforms when compressed and returns to its original shape when external force is removed, such as caulking, rubber foam, or soft foam banking material. It is. This cushion material 4b is fifted to the side end surface of the lower base material A of the composite board,
When a material such as a synthetic resin foam is discharged onto the + side base material A and reacted and foamed as the core material B, the gap between the lower base material A and the side end face molding band 4 is closed. This prevents the core material B from leaking to the surface of the lower base material A. Note that the cushioning material 4b is joined to the side end surface molding band 4 by the seventh
As shown in Figures (a) and (b), it is also possible to form a groove on the protruding piece 4a of the side end face molding band 4, and to combine and join the cushion material 4b to this groove. moreover,
The side end face forming band 4 is stretched by a support portion 5 and driven as necessary. Guide mechanisms 7 and -8 are attached to the fixed body 6 and guide the forming gap (
This is to control the manufacturing width) and prevent leakage of the core material B, and to maintain normal inward pressure at all times. Note that the shape of the side end surface forming band 4 can also be formed as shown in FIGS. Projection D+
(shown in FIG. 4), and has an abbreviated cross-sectional shape. Note that FIG. 4(e) shows the side end face molding band 4 without the protruding piece 4a. Its dimensions are as shown in Figures 3 to 5, where the thickness of the composite board is H, the thickness of the lower base material A is H,
, the height of the side end surface coloring band 4 is h, and the height of the protruding piece 4a is hl.
, where the width is Wl and the width of the protrusion D+ is W2, H=h,
It is formed so that HI = h+ and Vl/+ = W*. In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, the main side end surface forming part is provided with support parts 5 on the left and right sides of the main double conveyor,
Although not shown, it is also possible to arrange it so as to wind it around the lower mold conveyor 2b. Further, 9 is a sheet-like material,
Uncoiler lO installed at the entrance of the main double conveyor
As shown in FIG.
and between the back surface near the side end surface of the lower base material A and the lower mold conveyor 2b, and the core material B is placed on the side end surface forming band 4.
It functions as a mold release agent to prevent the adhesive from sticking. Further, the sheet-like material 9 is collected by a beam coiler 11 at the exit of the double conveyor 2. This sheet-like material 9 is a material that is compatible with the reaction and molding of the core material B and is easily deformed into the shape of the side end face molding band 4, and is, for example, a variety of polymer sheets. It is preferable that the sheet-like material 9 has releasability, but if it does not have releasability,
It is also possible to add a release property by spraying a release agent. In addition, the side end face finishing section is used to finish the end faces of composite boards that are formed, hardened and sent out by a double conveyor main, and the finishing device 13 consisting of rotary blades, cutter blades, etc. By cutting and processing the portion D+, the side end surface of the composite board is finished flush with the lower base material A and has a beautiful appearance.

As described above, according to the plywood manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention,
